Beautifully decorated, 3000 square feet of entertaining space, with 4 Large Bedrooms & 3 Full Bathrooms sprawling over 3 floors and a beautiful wrap around deck in the tree tops with all the amenities you’ll want! This cabin is centrally located in the middle of Arizona's "Vacation land" including Munds Park, Sedona, AZ Wine Country (Cornville), Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Jerome, Camp Verde (Montezuma's Castle & Well), Cottonwood (Tuzigoot). Short drive to Flagstaff Extreme for amazing zip line adventure courses. As our reviews suggest, you will not find a nicer 5 Star cabin in Arizona's Vacation Land ......with ALL of the extra's! Treat your group and/or family to a luxury cabin escape featuring a huge A-frame great room with 3 stories of windows and open concept kitchen. Great room includes kitchen, breakfast nook, brand new 8 ft slate pool table, family room, corner fireplace with lots of seating options. Large wrap around deck with all new outdoor furniture and a new 36in Blackstone griddle. The huge wrap around deck has views of Lake Odell high up in the ponderosa pines on the side of a mountain. In the garage, (which you have full access) there is a brand new ping pong table and brand new washer & dryer. Do you like water sports? This cabin comes with 4 brand new kayaks and 2 new paddle boards for use on Odell Lake including: 2 - new pro fishing / angler kayaks with comfortable pro seats 2 - new pro sport kayaks with comfotsble pro seats 2 - new paddle boards **Where in Arizona can you rent a cabin in the mountains .....and walk down to a lake and go kayaking or paddle boarding for free? Keeping our cabin "extra clean" is one of our biggest promises to you! After a long day outside enjoying the outdoors, you can relax and watch your favorite Sports team or a movie on the new 65in 4k UHD TV in the main A-Frame above the fireplace with Direct TV, Netflix, Roku, etc or sit outside overlooking the pine forest and Odell Lake. Description of 4 Bedrooms and Beds: This property typically sleeps 10 people very comfortably (2 per bed) with 12 max with special circumstances). All the furniture in the whole cabin is brand new!!! New beds are brand new platform beds with new luxury foam mattresses. There are a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. All bedrooms have their own brand new 4K UHD TV with Direct TV. Free high speed wireless internet. All Bedrooms have cell phone charging stations (just set your phone on it and charge it), USB port and electrical outlets. Stay cool with brand new Central Air Conditioning! **NOTE** This is a mountain home and thus it has a fairly steep paved driveway ...SEE Pictures of front (for traction during snow season). There is room for 3 cars at the top of the driveway and 3 cars in a carve out section off the main road on our land. Advise that a seasoned driver should drive up and down the drive way There is also ample parking at the bottom of the property on the street if need be. **Recommended** An all wheel drive or 4x4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended "during winter months when there is snow". ***Stairs*** Their are many stairs on this property as it is a 3 story cabin and located on the mountain. This property is absolutely beautiful inside and out! Through the pines you can see glimpses of Lake Odell and if your lucky it will snow like it did on our trip. The living room is very spacious, warm and welcoming. The bedrooms were great sizes and the MIL suite downstairs is perfect for guests. We had a total of 8 adults and 2 kids over to celebrate Thanksgiving and found there to be more than enough space between the table and bar tops. My favorite place was in the living room with the gorgeous fire place going, coffee in hand, and looking out of the large floor to ceiling windows into the trees in the morning. It was complete zen! Also, the kitchen is well stocked and the coffee bar is fabulous! We had accidentally left an important ladle to a family set passed down generations, and the owners were quick to respond and let us back in whenever we could to get it. It was so nice of them to be so accommodating. We will definitely be back! Thanks again Brian!

If you like vacationing in an idyllic setting with both wonderful indoor and outdoor space this is your place. We love outdoor activities and this location allowed us to explore much of Sedona oak creek and the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The house had a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals and a fully equipped house to make the stay safe for a 1 year old. Thank you for having a high chair and gates etc. I wish I could rate this 6 stars. Communication with the owners was flawless and rapid.

Big Deer Lodge is an amazing property. Very well stocked, and location is awesome, a short walk to Lake Odell. We made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The pool table and ping pong table got a lot of playtime. A great gathering place for our whole family. Thanks Brian and Kim, wonderful memories were made at your special place!

An absolutely beautiful, welcoming and cozy home. We went for a girls weekend and never once left the cabin. We cooked, played games, enjoyed the outdoor amenities, played pool and watched movies. It’s spacious, homey and tons of fantastic little touches from a coffee station, full stocked kitchen to an unbelievable amount of games. Cannot wait to come back

We were completely blown away by this property. It provides an incredibly spacious layout and amenities galore. We never stayed in a short term rental that was as well equipped as this cabin, from the kitchen to the games to the black stone grill - we had more than we needed! Clean and comfortable just about 20 minutes to Flagstaff and just under an hour to Sedona - you won’t find a better place to stay than this incredible cabin!

The lodge is stunningly beautiful, well equipped, well stocked, beautifully and tastefully decorated, with every comfort you can think of! The surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful. The hosts were superb, immediately responded to any question we had.
We went as a group of 5 friends, each one of us loved the lodge and wished we could stay longer!
For me personally, the 19 hour drive was totally worth it just to spend a few days at this place, even if did nothing else! I hope I can come back and stay here again.

Everything about this place was absolutely perfect! As well as being a beautiful home, it was very clean, well equipped with everything you could want for a great family vacation. Amazing views, furnishings and in a really quiet and peaceful location. On top of that the owners went over and above to make sure we were taken care of and were really quick to respond to communication.
We LOVED this place and can't wait to go back.

Absolutely awesome lodge located just off the highway. Beautifully kept and easy to relax in. All the essentials are there, and all it needs is occupants. We used it as base for our cycling adventures-- did NOT disappoint!

This cabin was a great home base for spending time at the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Being close to Flagstaff also made it easy to get anything we needed. It was a perfect spot for our group to enjoy our visit together. Brian was very responsive with any question we had, even late in the evening. I would stay there agai. If we are back in the area.

We had a great weekend and would strongly recommend this place. There is not a thing I could imagine the house neeeded, that it didn't already have. They have thought of everything. Really enjoyed taking out the Kayak's & the coffee options.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and there was a lot of special touches throughout the cabin that made it even more special. Our family and another family shared the cabin and there was a total of 3 teenagers. The cabin is huge, and it allowed us to have plenty of room. The neighborhood that is in is super cute and had a lot of areas to walk around.

We loved that with a short walk you can fish, paddle board and kayak. Also nice trail walks close to property. The pool table was great for the group. Our group ranged from 3 1/2 to 70 and there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Bucket List: Grand Canyon... BIG CHECK MARK!!!
This MANSION tucked in the mountains of Arizona is simply unbelievable!!!! From the amenities they provide, to the the surroundings - it was beyond ideal and exceeded (Scratch that!) it shattered all of our expectations!!! It had everything and then some - Lake is a block away loaded with Cat Fish (4 Kayaks were provided and were awesome - they provided 2 paddleboards as well - they even provided fishing poles and all the tackle you could ever need)! Hiking trails are less than a block away with phenomenal views the whole way!! Mountain bikes were also provided and are top of the line!! Literally everything you could ever want was provided by these awesome hosts - Pool Table, ping pong table, games galore, large screen TVs with Direct TV in every room!! Kitchen had EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING - Deck was loaded with all possible amenities as well (Top of the line Grill/Skillet, Awesome large cooler, Seating was comfy and plentiful - we spent alot of time here - played games on the outdoor large table, had cocktails, read books, and just relaxed!!! - Best time ever - our family will remember this trip forever and it is mainly due to this VRBO! These host go way beyond the norm and i know as we use VRBO alot - Just exceptional with regard to every aspect!!

We chose this property for an all guys weekend there was 9 total that made it up . This property is gorgeous and if you look at the pics you will see it speaks for itself. The amenities and amount of gear provided with this rental is second to none. These amazing Hosts have really invited you in to , not only enjoy thier home , but all thier toys as well. The driveway and stairs are very steep so if you have mobility issues keep that in mind. The lake is a very short distance away but also on a very inclined road. So being is shape, wich we are not , would have been good 🤣 Lets talk thow about the Hosts. Amazing communication from the get go. Even offering personal cell numbers for text communication. Every time we asked a question ...we had an answer within minutes. When we asked if they had something we needed , and it turned out they didnt have any at the house .. the hosts called around and found what we were looking for and relayed the info to us . We have been staying at vrbo rentals for over 10 years and this was one of the best experiences all around . Rent this place you wont be dissapointed ! These Hosts are Top of the game !

The cabin was spotless, had every amenity you could think of, and really comfortable furniture and bedding. The neighborhood is very quiet with an awesome small lake nearby, loved kayaking and hanging out down by the lake and relaxing on the deck. Close 45 minute drive to sedona, perfect for day trips. The hosts were very helpful and responded very quickly to some questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect in every way!
Our group of 9 ladies had the best time at Big Deer Lodge. We were celebrating our 50th birthdays and planned kayaking, Atv rides, horse rides and hiking. The location was perfect and close by to some restaurants. We had plenty of room and the cabin was stocked (which we appreciated so much btw). Brian was a text away with any questions I had. The cabin was so clean and roomy. 5 STARS!!!!!

Perfect Getaway for the Whole Family
I just can’t say enough about what a wonderful home this is… To start with, the home is beautiful nestled in the woods with arching windows looking out on the lake. There is a beautiful wraparound deck with a grill, cooler, fire pit table, deck chairs, etc. Our extended family of nine adults and teenagers were very comfortable in the four bedrooms - it isn’t easy for a single home to comfortably accommodate so many but this was perfect.
What really made this home so special was the attention to all of the details: charging stations throughout the house, a well-stocked kitchen with everything you could need, including a pool table, ping pong, all kinds of board games and a karaoke machine, paddle boards, kayaks, mountain bikes, etc.
Overall, the home is extremely well cared for and we couldn’t have felt more welcome. Thank you, Dave!

New Years Family Vacation
We rented this property over New Years 2021. It was so beautiful. It had everything we needed...fully stocked kitchen, games, pool table, ping pong table, kayaks, bikes, etc. We ended up getting some snow while we were there and it was absolutely stunning. The views from this property are so pretty, especially when it snows. We definitely will would love to rent this property again and have already recommended to some friends.

We had our annual family holiday weekend get away at this awesome cabin and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very well maintained and clean.
