We booked this property to spend time with our college daughter and a few of her friends on fall break. We ended up with just the three of us, which was perfect. We could have fit probably two more adults without being too crowded, but it was very nice with just us three. Access to the beach was wonderful, and you can see and hear the ocean from the front porch. Beds were very comfy and the couch was perfect for snuggling up and binge-watching TV. We had a couple of rainy days but we never felt cooped up, and it was so relaxing and cozy. We cooked most meals at home and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property!

What an outstanding gem! Beautiful ocean view cottage within steps of the beach. Highly recommend as the perfect beach get away location. Owner is very responsive and gracious. Very enjoyable stay.

This house has a great location & decor is exactly as pictured. When we first arrived & saw the house exterior - I was slightly concerned, It obviously is an older home that has been modified, but we loved the beach access & the fact that it is a single family home. Owner was great to communicate with us

Beautiful ocean view home with front deck and lovely seaside decor! Our family enjoyed the open concept living area which was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, towels, and sheets. Perfect location, steps from tranquil beach. Wesley is an excellent, gracious host - wonderful experience from start to finish!

Our family loved our time here. The home was perfect for our family & we loved the location. The beds were comfy, the AC kept us cool, and we loved the open concept living space. We could all be together while doing different things. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Topsail.

This was a perfect spot for a much needed getaway with friends! Having been to north Topsail before, we were a little concerned about the beach erosion, but Wesley assured us that even at high tide there would be beach to lounge on here at this particular section of the island. He was right (at least for now)! The tide does come pretty close to the dunes, but place your umbrella wisely and you can hang out all day just steps from the house! The house is as described and lovely. We hope to stay here again in the future!

My family had a great experience at this house. It was conveniently located right across from the beach- just a short walk across the road and over the dune and we were on the beach. The closeness made it easy to go back and forth for the all day beach experience. The house was well stocked with anything you would need. We loved the open floor plan- due to my daughter being blind, she was able to easily navigate through the house. Overall a great stay and hope to come back again.

Started with my family and we had a great time! House had everything we needed, and you can’t beat the walk to the beach(less than a 2 minutes) my only minor wish is that it had an outdoor shower to rise off but we had an amazing time!

This cottage was perfect for 4 adults. We had all of the amenities we needed plus Wesley went and purchased a blender after we asked if one was at the house and told us there wasn’t. Wesley was very accommodating when asked about fixing a sticky sliding door. We were pleasantly surprised to find available streaming apps at our disposal. Would stay here again but we did worry about how the house moves as mentioned in the other reviews.

Our weekend getaway was exactly what everyone needed and the House had everything we wanted and needed, It was spacious,calm, clean,serene, fresh and location couldn't be any better. My husband was recuperating from Surgery and he felt very comfortable We definitely love to come back again

If you are looking for a relaxing, no fuss beach experience, this home is a great option. Super clean and comfy. You can see and hear the ocean from the deck. Wesley was super responsive and lovely. 10/10 would stay again.

I can't say enough about how lovely it was having a spot on the beach right across the street that was not crowded. The house was perfectly situated and there was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out and relax at the end of the day. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and we took full advantage of the plethora of affordable fresh seafood there is available nearby and cooked some stellar dinners. I'm bookmarking this place because we would absolutely stay here again.

Communication with Wes prior to, was great, as he is very responsive & eager to share about his property. With that, access to home was easy and problem-free. The 'Great area' we'll call it (Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Area) was as advertised...very open, clean, with a comfy, home feel as soon as you entered. Bedrooms were spacious with more than adequate closet storage, and comfortable beds. Ceiling fans in each bedroom was quite useful. Both the master and hall bathroom, were clean and had adequate amount of towels, with nice showers. Kitchen was wonderful with large assortment of utensils and cookware, and the double-oven came in handy to multi-task a few dinners. Living room became the hub of activity with the large nice TV, with Streaming capacity, and with the immense amount of bright sunlight made it quite useful during the day. Neighborhood is away from the more busy area of the main road's activity, a cul-de-sac. The walk to the beach is unbeatable, literally a 3 minute walk across street, and over sand dunes. Offers GREAT sunrise pictures over the ocean. Plenty of parking for more than one vehicle if necessary, with ability to park underneath home in case of inclement weather. Overall, a great experience, thanks Wes for allowing us to grace your home. We'll be back....PS: very dog friendly, as plenty of room inside and out.

Great location! Beautiful little house all to yourself! Very clean and it felt welcoming. Love the open concept kitchen/dining/family and you can even see the canals along with the ocean. Would definitely recommend and would come back again!

Had a great stay. House was clean and comfortable, with short walk to the beach. My only complaint was the lack of ice cube trays in the freezer. Had to use the cupcake tins to make ice cubes. Otherwise, everything was well-equipped.

Clean, comfortable, and utterly charming. Beds are great, kitchen has everything we needed, view from the deck is unbeatable, and the location is as close to perfect as you'll find in NC. North Topsail is a beautiful beach, and the public access is only steps away. Bonus: it's not too far from the fishing pier. We'll be back.

Great getaway for this pair and their 2 pups. The house was very clean and recently remodeled, decorators did a beautiful job decorating. Appliances are new, great washer and dryer and double stove., plenty of room and literally right across the street from the ocean and reasonably priced. Wesley, the property manager, was great and made the process easy to rent. Will definitley rent again.

This home is located perfectly for a relaxing beach vacation. I loved waking up and having coffee on the porch while listening to the surf. There was a great view of the ocean too. The home was very clean and I would definitely like to come back.
