The housekeeper was such a sweetheart, there was a language barrier but she worked through it anytime we needed help (eg. locked in our room, showed us how to use the keys properly). Beautiful rooms, nice kitchen area! Walkable location with a lovely fruit and vegetable market right down the street.
Rooms locks were difficult to use/ had to be used to get in AND out of room, so we did end up getting stuck (as mentioned before, housekeeper was a huge help). Be sure not to forget your key!!

Wonderful location and great place to land for my first week in Lisbon.
It is a beautiful old building so you can hear other travelers at times. If you are a light sleeper, would take that into consideration.

The neighbourhood is really calm and nice. A 28 tram passes near by. The place is very clean and tidy.
I would have really appreciated the information that the building is under construction. It havent really affect my stay as it was weekend, but have really would have appreciated the heads up.
Other guest makibg a noise during all night, but its not really establishements fault, but the lack of education and respect from other guests. Incredible.
