The location is superb, at the heart of Lisbon. The general ambience is serene and calm.
The cubicles within the dormitory had no fans except one fan fixed on the wall to serve about 8 individuals in each cubicle. There was heat in each cubicle.

the overall Vibe was very good, a typical old school hostel. the co-working space was quite peaceful. They even had a pool table and lot of other facilities, you don't really need to go out anywhere much to find your necessities. The breakfast was very much worth the spent!
the air-conditioning could've been better. sleeping in the dom was tough with all stinky feet. There was damp smell in certain areas and also the rooms looked a bit more cramped that in pictures.

The cleanliness was excellent; your room was cleaned daily. The shared toilets and bathrooms were also very clean.
The sound insulation is poor, you can hear even the phone vibrating in the next room. The location is on a hill, but the city is hilly anyway.

The location is great, in historical part of the city. Lots of restaurants and cafes around. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
10 min walking to metro, 5 min walking to bus station.
The whole floor is dedicated for women, there is even a door blocking it from the staircase. For female travellers means a lot.
Top bed is quite uncomfortable, try to book the lower one. Room itself was tiny for 6 people, there is no space to open your suitcase fully.
