Great host and location. 5minute walk to Amir Temur Mausoleum, 15-20 to Registan Square. Good room and breakfast. Use of washing machine.
Room key lock was tricky until we got the hang of it. More pillows would be nice.

We had a really nice stay here. The owner is a lovely guy, speaks great English. The room was a decent size. The mattress is very hard (which is fairly normal for Uzbekistan). Plenty of hot water and good wifi available.
Breakfast was ample, they also offer to refill water bottles which is a nice touch.
Location was excellent!
We were offered a homemade nutty fudge when we checked out, which was delicious!
Mattresses are very hard. This is the norm for Uzbekistan but worth people knowing in case they need to find somewhere with softer ones. Didn't make a huge difference for us!

It had all the basic
For the price paid (the most expensive I paid in Uzbekistan) i was not satisfied.
The walls were made of paper, and it felt like the neighbors were in the same room. If there’s a child, it becomes a nightmare.
The basic things were missing, such as a light or an outlet next to the bedside table. The only electrical outlet and switch in the entire room were next to the door. Very inconvenient for charging the phone or reading in the evening. The breakfast was basic and unsatisfying. There were no common areas. The staff seemed friendly but didn’t speak any English, making communication difficult.
