Everything! Words are not adequate to describe our experience with Janice and her lovely property. We so appreciated having such a generous sized space, a sheet for the bed, ample French Press coffee, Delicious breakfast with multiple Choices, extra treats and tea choices, Quietness of setting, drying racks for wet clothes, amazing garden and most of all, time spent with Janice learning more about the Orkney Islands.

Loved EVERYTHING about this property. We spent over a month traveling throughout Scotland. Old School was by far our best experience. All the little “niceties”, have been thought of.

Breakfast was exceptional--my husband had the full cooked Scottish breakfast, and I had the Scottish porridge with nuts, yogurt, and fruit and a scrambled egg with mushrooms and home-grown tomatoes! The suite was lovely, and the bed was ever so comfortable! There are so many wonderful sights on the Orkney Islands!
I wish we could have stayed longer!!

Very spacious with a separate bedroom lounge and dining area. A king size bed which has been rare to find so far in Scotland. The breakfast was perfect and there were lots of extra snacks provided. Parking was easy. Central to everywhere we wanted to go. Janice our host was very helpful and friendly.
