We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the guest house and particularly with the layout of our room which, we understand, had been recently refurbished. The guest lounge provided all the facilities we needed for a takeaway meal. The bar (a recent innovation) is very good and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Car parking was easy and convenient.

Excellent location, so close to main cafes and shops but far away enough to be quiet

Good location. Clean enough, easy to collect keys and parked easily. Large rooms.
The damp. There was a dehumidifier in one of the rooms to try and counteract it but the smell of damp was very strong. We opened the one window that wasn’t painted shut as soon as we arrived and it was a bit better by the time we went to sleep. We visited in July - I dread to think what it’s like in winter.
