Downstairs unit with private access to each unit. This is a 100 year old beauty, it is not a perfectly remodeled house, we like to call it character. Our place is a good option for those that need more than just a hotel room. We are easygoing hosts and invite all to stay with us. 🫶 Located in the Lincoln District in a safe neighborhood. Large unfenced yard with plenty of room to hang out outdoors. Plenty of parking on the street and behind the house. Per VRBO's Surveillance Device Policy: There are 2 audio and video cameras located at the entrance of each unit.

Very homey and cute cottage! Love the amazing couch in living room, very cozy and great place to hang. We made Kandi and got ready and listened to music on the tv. The beds were super comfy and rooms were clean and lots of blankets! Loved the open kitchen, baked pizzas in the oven after our night out! The place did say suits 5 adults, received a message from host saying the “5th” bed which is listed as a twin bed is actually a small cot for a child at best. The couch was big enough for friend to sleep on it. The listing also say hot tub, not true. Host is fixing this. Overall was an amazing place to stay! Would stay again. Thank you!

We came to Tacoma with our colleagues for a leadership conference and it felt like we were home in our own cottage! Had everything we needed, more comfortable and relaxing than a hotel and a great price. Room for everyone to have some privacy when they needed it. Cute neighbourhood too!

We stayed at the cottage to be close to the Washington State Fair and it was perfect for us! This adorable little cottage is also so close to the city center, with plenty of great local food options. We particularly enjoyed Shake Shake Shake. The Host is super quick to respond to messages, and is very helpful!

We came to Tacoma to take kids to the Point Defiance Zoo. We chose this home due to the closeness to Zoo. The was clean and comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and nice. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.

Leanne was very helpful from even before the stay. The place is located just off the highway, but very quiet and peaceful, great for what we were looking for! The style of the place is great and would stay here again!

My family and I took a trip to Wild Waves Amusement Park in Federal Way, WA in July and needed a place to stay for a couple of nights. Canary Cottage was the perfect fit for all of our needs. It was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and close to the park. The hosts were very accommodating and provided a pleasant experience in their peaceful house. They even offered a third night for half the price which we reluctantly had to decline. I would highly recommend this home to anyone, and we will definitely be returning in the future if need be.

This little house was perfect for our visit. Son and his family live just 3 blocks away! We were able to walk between houses and have 4 generations together. Leanne was responsive and patient with the hiccups on our side of VRBO.

Only stayed one night as we came in for the Elton John concert but would have easily stayed a week. Leanne is very accessible and check in was you easy. The place is clean and the neighborhood is quiet. 10 minutes from the Tacoma Dome with a major grocery store and corner store within walking distance. The beds were comfy. There were coffee pods for the morning and little bags of popcorn if you needed a snack when you arriveded. If I was going back to stay overnight in Tacoma I would 100% book this again :-) Thanks Leanne!

This house is so cute and cozy. It was a relaxing place to stay for a few days with the family and the beds were very comfortable. The host was very responsive and easy to get in touch with when we had issues with the entry/lock. I do wish there were curtains/blinds on the main window in the dining area to feel more privacy. Overall we enjoyed our stay

We stayed here for a girls weekend. It was the perfect house for what we needed. The decor is super cute!!! We took a Lyft down to the waterfront for drinks and fun. Then packed up in the morning and headed to the Hit Tub Boats in Seattle. This was a great affordable location to hang out for the night!

We enjoyed and appreciated the ability to visit a family member stationed at JBLM in a homelike setting. I was able to cook my soldier's favorite meals, and we were able to enjoy family time.

Beautiful home, made for a great place to have our girls night. It was so clean that the place felt brand new, the only sign of previous life being the towels in the tub and the sheet on the floor of one of the rooms. I’m glad we made the decision to stay here.
