About this cabin rental
Panoramic sunset views from the top of a bluff overlooking the bay of Michigan. This property is private, wooded with gorgeous hardwoods and birch tress, and fully stocked for you. We love to pamper our guests and give them the best vacation experience. The outdoor space provides a stone firepit overlooking the bluff and offering a fantastic oasis to sip Door County wine and watch the sunset or even enjoy the daytime views nighttime sky filled with stars. The back porch is covered and great for grilling. Inside you have a cozy setting all your own, with a large master bedroom offering view of the lake from the king sized bed, washer/dryer, and attached bathroom. The main space is updated and upgraded with a fully stocked kitchen, open concept living space with electric heat as well as a wood burning stove to keep you nice and warm even on those cold Wisconsin winters. This property is 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay, 8 minutes south of downtown Egg Harbor and a few minutes drive to the Rusty for Breakfast, or a delightful coffee shop right in Carlsville. Property is fully cleaned top to bottom between bookings, and full stocked with blankets, pillows, dishes, and much more. **[Summer/Fall, May-Oct., check-in/check-out 6p- noon] **[Winter/Spring, Nov.-April, check-in/check-out 4p-10a] **Internet has been upgraded to Starlink and is much more reliable. There is a boat launch and sand beach just a 5 minute drive way at Murphy park. Cave Point is straight across and only 15 minutes away. Grocery store 15 min away in Sturgeon Bay or a smaller one available in Egg Harbor. Amenities included: Coffee pot Toaster Utensils, pots, pans, cooking gadgets Card Games 2 T.Vs DVD player Some books and movies Wi-fi (it's Door County so it's a little hit and miss) King sized bed (sheets provided) Pull out couch with double bed (sheets provided) Washer/Dryer Towels Body wash, shampoo, conditioner Outdoor seating and fold up camp chairs Gas Grill Hair dryer Hand and dish soap A/C Guest book with recommendations Spare blankets and pillows

This place was a perfect getaway in the woods overlooking the bay. The hot tub was great for relaxing after lots of hiking during the days.

The house was beautiful and clean. The property was as well. Wonderful view of the meteor shower over the water off the bluff in the backyard. The place is amazing. The host was very easy to get ahold of and work with for any information. We will definitely look to come back.

The home was very clean. The view was spectacular!! The hot tub was clean and well needed after a hike at the nearby trails. Definitely coming back..oh and our doggo had a great time as well...thank you for being dog friendly!! See you next year

This property had almost every amenity you would want. The location is great, close to Egg Harbor, and really everywhere you would want to go in Door county.

We had an absolutely wonderful long weekend here. Everything about the property was so thoughtfully prepared and just perfect. The interior is very comfortable and well-appointed; it felt like home from the moment we arrived and we easily had everything we needed. Incredible views from the back yard and plenty of space to just relax put this one a notch above the rest, as well. We usually spend every spare moment hiking with our two dogs when we are in Door County - for this trip we actually found ourselves spending time just hanging out at the property, too, because it was so enjoyable. One of our dogs wanted nothing more than to lay near the fire pit and watch the sun setting over the water. He’s a smart boy and I’m glad we listened to him!

What a wonderful little cabin/cottage. Beautifully remodeled, very clean, comfortable bed, and well-stocked. Oh...and spectacular view! The owners are very responsive and easy to work with. We will stay again.

We visit DC ever year and this is the best cabin we've rented hands down. Hosts are awesome, too!! We'll be back.

We loved this house and will stay again! The inside layout is great. The view is incredible. We stayed in the winter and had a lot of snow on the ground. We used the fire pit twice. We can't wait to come back for another long weekend.

We loved the property so much within the first two hours we rebooked! Can’t wait until we go back this summer. The view over the bay is amazing. The only thing is the internet is a little in and out but you’re in DC so hopefully you don’t need much of it!

We had a most enjoyable stay at this charming cabin. The layout is perfect for a couple and the setting amidst the trees and the view of the bay make for a memorable experience. Everything was as advertised and the hosts are extremely responsive to any questions or issues which may arise during the stay. Bravo!

We were enchanted from the moment we pulled into the driveway. The cabin was furnished thoughtfully and there was even a festive sparkling beverage and chocolate waiting on the table when we opened the door! We loved the view and the cozy comforts.

My spouse and I had planned a long weekend away and another couple decided to join with little notice. Owner was quick to respond and flexible and we had such a great time. The house is nice, clean and has everything you need! The outdoor space and views of the lake are lovely, including sunsets and the stars at night. Such a great spot. This property was more than I expected & has a very well thought out layout for a cabin style home. We walked into the property and had a surprise bottle of wine and chocolates on the counter. The cabin was cozy and an adequate amount of space for my husband and I. The view in the backyard is breathtaking and we spent most of our time sitting by the fire just taking it all in. An easy drive to all the Door County attractions yet a private wooded setting with an amazing lake view. Relax at the firepit/patio for the perfect sunset. You won't be disappointed!! We plan to return!

We had a wonderful time in door county that was enhanced by using this fantastic cottage as our home base. The views from the cottage and firepit were amazing. The firepit also served as our morning coffee spot.

This property is even nicer than the site shows. Very private, quiet, picturesque property with a cozy but spacious home. The dog, Lola, absolutely loved it and was refreshed and rejuvenated by her holiday in Wisconsin air, if not covered in burrs from exploring!! Unbelievably comfortable king size bed. Large kitchen that was easy to enjoy and provided a table to sit 5-6 people and also lots of room to set up a computer and work. It was a treat to stay here.

Wonderful
The sunsets are as shown and the Adirondack chairs were very comfortable. I love staying in a place where I envy the appliances and that was so here, nice sharp knives were appreciated as frequently some places look like Goodwill was the source for utensils. The king size bed was very comfortable and the shower was very good as well. We had some issues with the A/C and wireless and we called the host, less than 20 minutes later the caretakers arrived and took care of the issues. We weren't familiar with the A/C and VRBO had outdated login information. It's very quite and secluded. We will certainly return.

Amazing cabin in a beautiful secluded setting
Our stay here was just the respite we needed! Beautifully appointed cabin in the woods with many extras, and the view of the Bay was gorgeous! We really enjoyed the sunsets and the firepit. Our hosts were communicative and pleasant. We would stay here again!
