I felt so held in this space. The staff were exceptionally helpful, kind and resourceful. The location was perfection. My sleep was best in as long as I can remember. The room / cabin was super clean, bed beyond comfortable vibe peaceful as can be, bathroom brand new. I loved everything about Jungle Lodge and would definitely return!

Some guidelines at the pool would be a good addition. People were loud there, on cell phone speakers as if they were the only ones, ... it may be the social spot. I didnt feel I could relax peacefully at the pool. Plenty of other places to though!

Fantastic location to Tikal. The hotel has organised tours during the day and for sunrise and sunset. They are super helpful in providing information. The service is great. The pool is also in a perfect and relaxing jungle setting. There is no wifi in the rooms / only in the main areas but the hotel is in the middle of the jungle so not unexpected. We also had a medical emergency and, whilst the hotel does not have a clinic, there is a clinic at the entrance of the park which is literally a 30second walk from the hotel.

A highlight was the evening tour with guide Yonathan, organized by Jungle Lodge. Food and drinks are a bit pricey, but the sugar-free licuados were incredibly delicious! There's only Wi-Fi in the lobby area, not in the rooms, but that didn't bother us. Important info: the park entrance and the tours have to be bought online

This place is probably the only place to stay in the Tikal park. The Mayan ruins are of course amazing and that’s the reason to come here. The hotel is tastefully decorated and has a bar/restaurant. We had a bungalow with a bath. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
I had a very stressful booking experience. I booked “pay at the property.” Two days before I was supposed to arrive, I got a message that my credit card wasn’t working, and the property would cancel my reservation unless I paid in advance through a link. It felt very scam-like, particularly since I was supposed to pay at the property upon arrival; I had called my credit card company and was told there had been no attempts to charge my card; and my card had worked just fine with other properties I booked for the same trip. Booking.com was ZERO help, which was eye-opening for me. Anyway, after many emails and a lot of stress worrying about whether I was being scammed, I ended up paying via the link, and it worked out okay, but I did not appreciate the unnecessary stress of this experience. In terms of the property itself, it is out in a jungle, and so I assume water is scarce, but the toilet barely worked and the hot water was at most tepid. Food in the restaurant average or below.
