Fabulous hotel with unbelievable staff that go above and beyond in every respect! There is a great pool and a lakefront with amenities including SUP, and kayaks. The included continental breakfast is fabulous, as are the lunches and dinners. The sauna is a must. This is the perfect base for exploring the Mayan ruins and Flores Island.

Fantastic stay in all respects — the staff, carefully curated rooms and amenities, proximity to and availability of activities able to be seamlessly arranged, and the serene and secluded location were spectacular. Our stay at La Lancha was a truly special experience unlike any other we have experienced worldwide.

The hotel is well designed. Rooms are cute and clean. Staff is amazing! Very relaxing environment right on lake Peten.
You are definitely out there. So plan on having most of your meals at the resort. They did arrange for us to go to Tikal and Flores. Our guide to Tikal was amazing. I highly recommend this spot! Would absolutely go back.
