We had a lovely stay at The Eddie! The staff who welcomed us were warm and accommodating, and made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. We also loved being able to explore the beautiful grounds, take in the scenic views, and catch a gorgeous sunset. Such a charming and unique place to stay while visiting Prince Edward County!
There was very little to dislike overall. However, some of the furniture, utensils, and flooring could benefit from more thorough deep cleaning and maintenance. The patio and backyard areas could also be better maintained. That said, the property was generally clean, quiet, and comfortable, and these were relatively minor areas for improvement.

Breakfast was top notch and dining room area.
There was several items in the communal fridge that had mold on it. You could tell guests had left it and it had been sitting for some time. An oversight in my opinion. I notified staff and was assured it would be disposed of immediately.

The grounds are well kept and it’s close to everything you need for a nice vacation.
The old farmhouse is in a decrepit state and needs extensive work, from broken exterior doors to windows that don’t open.
The way it’s furnished can be called eclectic at best but I would call it cheap randomness without style nor concept.
The soft bed had hole in the centre of the mattress through which one could feel the basement and dust and moths enjoying it all galore.
The staff was kind but should you have trouble walking stairs don’t expect them to come to your rescue.
