The hotel was very clean the staff were fantastic very helpful and the food was excellent value and quality Big shout out to the young chap who ran the bar and the girls who checked us in and served in the restaurant

Staff were friendly and amicable. Rooms were well laid out with modern amenities.
Breakfasts were well presented and tasty.
All rooms were located over an active pub. Being an old building there was very little noise cancellation. For our stay, this led to late outside patron noise and early kitchen preparedness noise, limiting our sleep. Internal doors did not offer enough sound proofing leading to our children being woken overnight by noisy guests.
While not able to sample all of the evening meal choices, between the four of us, those we did all tasted like they had been cooked in an air fryer, regardless of what was chosen.
