Nestled in Walloon Lake, this lovely cottage for $686 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to beautiful Northern Michigan! Whether you’ve been visiting here for years or have never been, this area has so much to offer for sight-seeing, activities, and making wonderful memories. Nestled in a perfectly central location is the quaint village of Walloon Lake. Our cottage sleeps 15, has many indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy, and is across the street from Walloon Lake with lake access. Launch one of our kayaks or paddle boards and enjoy summer up North. Come in the winter and enjoy your favorite snow sports. We are 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain. We have spent much time designing, building, and decorating this cottage with your family in mind. It is inviting and cozy with many different spaces where people can spend time together, and also separate spaces for relaxation and alone time. The entrance of the cottage has a large, covered porch with a swing and patio set. The main floor has a large family/living room with a sectional couch, sleeper sofa, 3 chairs, a fireplace, and big screen TV. This area leads to a fully stocked open kitchen with a keurig coffee bar. The dining room has two tables that will seat a total of 10 people. The main floor has a bedroom with a double bed. Across from the bedroom is a bathroom with a shower. Through the back slider is a covered deck with ample seating, and a covered patio with a propane grill and picnic table. The fenced-in backyard has a firepit, bean bag toss, a shed with kayaks, paddle boards, and life jackets. The upper level is full of custom touches that your family will love. The huge front suite features a King bed, TV, beautiful built-in bunks with privacy curtains, a daybed, a balcony with bistro table and chairs, and a private bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a King bed, desk/workspace, TV, and entry to a spacious upper deck with lounge chairs and bistro furniture. The third bedroom is a kid’s paradise with a double bed, and custom built-in bunks with curtains and charging ports. This room also has a door that leads to the upper deck. The hallway bathroom has a tub/shower. Outside the bedrooms is a reading nook. The basement level has a Washer/Dryer and a game area with a couch, chairs, TV, Ping-Pong table, and a full size refrigerator. There are also ski and snowboard racks to hang your gear up after a fun day at Boyne Mountain.

Scott's home was charming, cozy, and clean. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and our kids loved playing the yard. We enjoyed a wonderful fall weekend in Walloon and loved being able to walk to the village for dinner and stroll around the lake. We hope to come back next year!

We had a great time staying at this property. The location is perfect. My family loved having paddle boards and kayaks to use. The kitchen was great for cooking in meals and we enjoyed the fire pit and corn hole for after dinner fun. Thanks for a great vacation!

Luxurious home with private backyard and covered porch, comfortable bedrooms with balconies and easy walk to excellent dining and activities in Walloon Village. The public docks allowed our family to enjoy boating, tubing and skiing. The in house games allowed younger members to have fun while the adults relaxed in the backyard. I highly recommend this vacation home.

House is wonderful, exactly as on VRBO site. Home was very clean, excellent location, nicely decorated, and host Very responsive to inquiries. Would definitely stay again. It was nice having kayaks available to use at lake. Highly recommend, will be returning.

Our family had an amazing time at this home! The layout of the house and the rooms are perfect for families. The house is very well maintained and very clean! The location was perfect for skiing at Boyne Highlands and Mountain. We highly recommend this house!

I can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the house, the decor, the kitchen organization and items available for use. The beds were perfect. So awesome to find a home with 2 kings for 2 couples. The host responded to my questions within minutes. Will definitely stay again.

We had planned a trip to go snowmobiling but when the time came, there was no snow. This location had so much to offer and we were able to make so many memories as a family. The restaurant recommendations listed at the house were top notch and the area has so much to offer even without snow. The house allowed our group of 13 to be together and to be alone, we play games, made dinners together, read books, did puzzles, went bowling, wine tasting and so much more. The house was perfect and exactly as described. We hope to return in the summer or even in the winter again!

Everything you could want and more! Gracious hosts with a beautiful home. Everything felt brand new, updated. It’s ready to sleep large parties and for fun to enjoy on the lake at home! Paddle boards, fire pit, just perfect!
