Located in Walloon Lake, this lovely house for $318 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This inviting retreat leaves nothing to be desired. Located in the village of Walloon Lake, it allows for a short walk home after a romantic sunset dinner. It's just around the corner from local wineries and down the road from some of the best downhill skiing Northern Michigan has to offer. The Farmhouse offers plenty of space for two couples to share the home without sacrificing privacy. Each bedroom has its own full bath and the common space spills onto a beautiful sunlit porch. Inquire about our 2023 30' Open bow boat available for chartered cruises! Additional cost, not included in property rent. We are available by phone 24/7. We respond to urgent issues ASAP. We live nearby so we can be available on site if needed. We love to offer our input if you need suggestions. We can also line up great local babysitters, catering services and family photo shoots to capture your moments and turn them into lifelong memories! The village of Walloon Lake is a charming, history-rich destination where people flock in the summer to capture the essence of the NoMi lifestyle. The "Farmhouse" is less than a half mile from the beach, the marina (where boats are available for rent), some fantastic restaurants and one of our favorite apparel stores, (Tommys). Capture some of the best sunsets of your life sitting on the Barrel Back patio, or better yet, from right on the beach. There are hiking/snow shoe trails and even a river where you can cast a line and reel in dinner. For those interested in history, Earnest Hemmingway spent his childhood on Walloon Lake and the area has held onto the charm that has always made NoMi a destination for friends and families to come together and make memories that will last a lifetime. The "Farmhouse" sits among a dozen 'tiny homes' nestled into the hillside. The property has been a labor of love for the owner over the last few years and it has slowly transformed from an eyesore into a luxurious retreat for those looking for more than a place to crash. It sits right along the main thoroughfare so you'll not be far from anything. We welcome you to Walloon Lake and hope you treasure your time with us and make it an annual NoMi Getaway! The whole home is yours. The basement houses the washer and dryer as well as a storage room that is used for home maintenance. Its open, but serves no purpose to our guests unless you'd like to double as the handy man! This home is set up for you to have all the amenities and fine details you're used to from home. No Ikea furniture here! Linen/cotton sheets, a bluetooth sound system and charming, candle-lit fireplace set the tone for a quiet getaway sprinkled with all the fun NoMi has to offer! Whether you're coming with your sweetie or inviting another pair, you'll have your privacy here. The bedrooms are split by the living room and dining room and each have their own full bath with wall to wall tile. Crisp, clean textiles and the scent of new construction mixed with the charm of an old "Farmhouse" set this short stay apart from the rest. You'll be centrally located to the ski mountains, a stones throw from the lake and surrounded by top-notch wineries. After a day of adventuring and a night out for dinner, you'l find the home to be just what you need to wind down. Coffee on the covered porch in the morning will energize you for another day of vacation and keep you coming back time and time again. New this year! Chartered boat tours on Lake Charlevoix. Champagne sunset cruise, real estate tours by water, or just a day on the water enjoying the sun and 'provisions' with friends! Captain will pick your group up at the shopper's dock in Boyne City. Inquire about pricing. The house sits on the main road in town. Walking and biking are an option when heading to the beach, the park or restaurants.
