Host (who was very pleasant) was excellent in communicating and providing all support and requirements. Although they spoke only a little English and I don't speak any Spanish, we got by perfectly fine on google translate. The property is two bedroom (one double, 1 single both with A/C) and has all the facilities you could wish for - including everything you need to bring to the beach - chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc (which practically everyone on the beaches had! It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre - a short bit less to the beach. I hired a car which was useful but not essential. I would describe the house like a terraced townhouse with a small private garden in the front which you can relax in (though the beach was the preferred chill spot). Parking is at the end of the row of houses - plenty of it and everything seemed pretty chill and safe there. The Museo de Sal (Salt Museum where the flamingos gather) is a couple of minutes walk away and you can get boat(s) to Tabarca island (25 minute journey) from the port/centre very easily. I ran most days and there is a promenade along the coast on both sides of the town (though the longer one is on the far side) which allows for a nice running experience (temperature dependent) especially as the sun comes up. Highly recommended.

Based in quite good location in a quiet neighbourhood. Good as a holiday base. Nice small courtyard. Lots of equipment available for visits to the beach.
The single bed in the spare bedroom was extremely poor quality. The main double bed was too small for two adults. The single bed was the worst I have ever slept on. Disappointing that there was no milk available in the fridge on an evening arrival especially as there were no convenient supermarkets . It’s not the owners fault but a large group of seagulls made a horrendous noise every night keeping us awake
