The room was just ok. For a one night stay, the reasonable cost in the San Francisco local, close to the cruise port, it met our needs. The rep at the front desk was very helpful with the check-in process and she was very kind and patient with all my questions.

Great neighborhood. Relatively clean. Loses points for broken elevator. Hopefully fixed by now. Price and locations was great.

I’m sure this is an older hotel, which I’m perfectly fine with. For me this ended up just being a place to sleep since the hotel itself really doesn’t offer much. No parking as well. Check in happened after hours and we had no problem with it. Directions were precise. I thought we would see someone at the front desk the following day but the entire stay the very small lobby was empty. Here is my biggest complaint is that the picture of the room, which is why we chose this hotel in the first place, was not the room we received. Each room is themed different which is great! I think that would bring people back to experience each room and how beautiful and different each room is. So my advice to the hotel is put rooms up individually so people have the correct expectation when booking. Our room was beautiful but probably wouldn’t of picked that one myself. Very misleading and a huge disappointment!

Great location! Adjacent to Chinatown and really easy walk to a lot of places. The transportation stops are really close by if you want to go to the other side of town like Haight/ Ashbury or Mission. The hotel itself is so cute and has lots of vintage charm. Wesley at the front desk was so helpful and aware. He helped upgrade us since it was our anniversary and also spotted double transactions that were an error. Would stay here again in San Francisco!!

The building is prehistoric, when we looked at the pics we thought this might be a fun funky spot, but the smell was the funkiest part, and there were some stains on our sheets. We did not even stay a single night, after about an hour on the bed we made the decision to just go down the street to a hilton, Nice big room and ultra comfy kingsize bed for the same price virtually.. Don't take the L like I did
