We had a wonderful stay at Residenza al Colosseo. The apartment is very cozy, comfortable, and perfectly located. The Colosseum is only a 2-minute walk away, making it easy to experience the beauty and history of Rome right from your doorstep.
The host was always available and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. If you want to feel what it is like to live in the very heart of Rome, this apartment is the perfect choice.
We also enjoyed dining at a restaurant with excellent cuisine located just next to the building. Everything we needed was within easy reach. This is a truly great apartment—comfortable, welcoming, and it made our stay in Rome unforgettable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

O processo de self check-in foi fácil, porém achei a host um tanto quanto antipática ao responder minhas perguntas. O apartamento é bem legal, a cozinha é bem equipada. O ar condicionado funciona apenas em um comodo da casa, o quarto com duas camas não possui ar, o que me levou a ter que puxar uma das camas para dormir próximo a cama de casal, dado o calor de final de julho em Roma. Mas no geral o apartamento é bem legal, localização excelente.
Para pessoas com dificuldade de mobilidade a falta de elevador pode ser um problema.
Durante minha estada, no primeiro dia, a internet da acomodação teve bastante problemas, porém o host fez contato com a provedora de internet, que informaram que se tratava de um problema geral na região.

The location was walking distance to the major sites. In the heat when walking was not what we wanted to do, Taxi’s were easy to flag down close by. The air conditioning was an essential feature for the 40 degree weather.
There is a narrow doorway to enter and stairs to get to the apartment where silence is required. The door key can be tricky to work. We had accidentally entered 3 adults and forgot the one child when booking but saw that the property included a queen bed and two singles, perfect for our family of four. The extra cost for one person was high.

The location is perfect and a close walk to many of the famous sights. Numerous good bars and restaurants are very close by. Check in and check out was very easy. The apartment is large and clean and well furnished.
Only one set of keys provided. To save energy, the keys have to be put into a lock to turn on the power inside the apartment. This means whenever you leave you must turn off all power to the apartment. There is only one small mini-split AC unit cooling the apartment. With the 90+ degree plus Roman summer days right now, the result is you come back to a very hot apartment in the evenings and have to wait 2 hours for it to cool down as you try to go to sleep.
