This was the worst room I have stayed in , in years. The tub was yellow, the shower was dirty. The room smell so terrible like someone spilled a bottle of strong cleaner. The tub cover was completely broken and exposing tubes.

Toilet had to be manually flushed because handle was broken, Couch cushions were uncomfortable and did not stay in place. And the upstairs bar/lounge was closed for remodel...sheesh

Hotel personnel was very friendly. The hotel was conveniently located near PCH and I-5 and next to the beach. One issue was that the hotel seems a little old and is going through renovations. A/C in our room was not working properly. It was too warm through the night. We reported this issue to the front desk, but nothing was done about it. Beds were average, although the rooms were very clean. Parking was also free and easy to reach.

The hotel was in the perfect location. The rooftop lounge was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and perfect for a family. We will be back!

Great location, helpful and responsive staff. The building had some roof leak issues and we had to change rooms. Our trip occurred during the atmospheric river rain storm.

The front of house and valet were Super courteous, helpful and kind. The wait staff for breakfast were unavailable, then condescending and rude!! We had a 'stuffy' and very unfresh smelling room at first, with a view of the large garbage bins in back. When my young daughter began 'sneezing' after an hour, they upgraded us to a frontside ocean view/breezy room! What a relief as staying for 2 nights it was so much more pleasant!

Fabulous hotel in location close to beaches and amenities. Hotel staff was friendly and gracious and quick with items like extra bedding, towels and toddler crib. We ate at and loved the rooftop bar with food served from downstairs. The pool was warm and everything was very clean.

The hotel was wonderful and the location perfect. The only drawback was the layout of the bathroom. The shower door couldn’t be opened all the way because it hit the toilet. Just a strange arrangement. Sliding glass doors instead of hinged doors would solve the problem.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice with a great view of the ocean and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Overall it was a wonderful visit.

I took my children and grandchildren to this hotel for a NYE party we had been invited to and got 3 rooms for 3 days. The valet and cleaning people were amazing and there is great coffee in the lobby all day which I loved. It's also close enough to walk to the beach The only issue I had was parking! We needed two vehicles for everyone. Mine was $40 a day plus we tipped every time we went somewhere (which was often) since it's not the valet's fault there's no free parking. So, by the end of the three days it had cost us quite a bit. Our other vehicle is a large truck that didn't fit in the parking garage so it needed to be parked around the corner. So half the family had to walk to and from that spot every time we went somewhere, which again was frequently. Upon check-in, the front desk said they wouldn't charge us for the truck since we were paying for one vehicle and it was not our choice to walk, we were forced into it since the parking structure was too short. However, nobody communicated that to the check out staff and at checkout they tried to charge us for the 3 days for both vehicles even though we had been told otherwise. The checkout desk guy basically told us he didn't care what someone else had told us and he was charging us.That is not a good attitude at all. It bothers me we had to argue with him and refuse to pay it for him to finally oblige. Unfortunately, one person soured an otherwise good trip at the end.

Property is alright, nothing extravagant. However, the WiFi is absolute crap!! Most of time was barely one bar signal and kept disconnecting. NOT what I expect from a Hilton property especially as my main intention was a nearby getaway to plan my 2024 (which I needed to view some videos and materials). The videos (YouTube) would not even load because the WiFi was so bad. Really shameful in this day and age. Also...the property (lobby, some rooms, etc) stunk of marijuana. I know it's legal now...but simply stunk up the place.

Room was clean, but it's obvious the hotel is in a state of disrepair. Pealing wallpaper, shower door that wouldn't close... Needs a major uplift especially for the rates they are charging. Doesn't seem to be living up to the Hilton standard.

The property needs updating. Patio’s off of room and property need to be maintained and kept clean. The restaurant is freezing cold. Food was good but I was too cold to enjoy. The shower door should be a sliding shower door, the bathroom is too small to have a door that opens out and the tub needs to be replaced or refinished.

All staff are friendly. Parking is very quite expensive $39.00 per night, Breakfast is available (Not included) for $25 per person for a breakfast buffet. The hotel is located right next to the freeway. Approx. 10~15 min walking distance to nearby Starbucks & restaurants.

I love this place. The staff is great, the room service is great and the location is awesome. The beach is across the street. I had to have the sheets changed on one bed for stains and hair. My hope is that it doesn't happen to anyone else. I will stay here anytime I am in the area.

There was a bandaid on the ceiling (vomit)- when I called the front desk they didn’t seem to care and said they would send maintenance as "maybe it's there for a reason". The maintenance guy showed up- propped up his ladder and removed it. Didn't say one word- like I am so sorry maam, that's gross, nothing. Then he just walked out. I think I was in the non remodeled wing and the rooms in front of mine all had their doors propped open that entire time I was there (weird). My room was dingy and dirty. BUT the bed was clean. That was the only saving grace. I actually told this story in the lobby to a colleague, in clear shot of the ladies at the desk and again not one person apologized. I won't stay here again.

The restroom sink was difficult to turn on. The sofa bed was not easy to set up. No extra comforter for the sofa bed was available when we requested it. No cookies available upon check in. The roof top bar server charged us 18% gratuities for drinks we were ordering ourselves and walking up to th bar to get ourselves.

The property and staff were as expected, having grown up in this area and hearing about this place, were great. I did however book the “delux king suit” through Expedia. This is the room I got but it was not what was advertised on Expedia. I talked to the hotel about the discrepancy, and it is not on their end. Expedia said it had an ocean view, balcony, big bath tub, and fire place. This is NOT accurate! It is a regular room, facing the i5 on ramp, with a king bed. We still enjoyed our stay, and the staff was great. But Expedia advertised this COMPLETELY wrong!

Cozy gas fireplace in sitting area. Well appointed bathroom with bath, separate shower and separate sink area. Access to two terraces with table and chairs. Nice partial ocean view. Great customer service.

We planned to stay here with our adult child plus girlfriend for a nearby wedding- booked the Suite and coffrimed it would sleep 4 adults (two on a pull out couch) and confirmed room had a divider /door between them as website indicated. They assured us it did. Room did not have any division and couch & bed were no more than 3 feet apart so our adult child and girlfriend did not share our room and ended up having to stay somewhere else to avoid it being awkward. Incurred the additional cost. Hotel and service otherwise is fine- things at the beach get weathered. Cookies are awesome! Also Hotels.com email said 3 pm check in yet hotel said 4pm. The wedding was at 4pm so we needed to check in at 3:00 pm to drop luggage and freshen up and head out. Luckily they accommodated us but stated its clearly 4pm normally.
