The Lamaro is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in the gothic quarter. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed at times. The elevators were small and wait times for them were lengthy, at times. My room was pleasant but I had a view of a wall. In my opinion, the property is not a 5 star hotel. The towels were extremely hard and I couldn’t figure out how to get the coffee machine in my room to work. There is a rooftop bar with a stunning view of the cathedral and city. Overall it’s a lovely hotel, but I guess I was expecting a little more for $400 US a night.

This hotel was amazing. Every detail was worth it, quality, location, cleanliness, staff. View from this location is beautiful. I highly recommend.
