The location is excellent, the grounds are well kept but the hotel is dated, in particular the rooms, the bathrooms, food is a hit and miss, the main restaurant is average and expensive, the Asian a la carte is better, internet is really bad and an extra $30 a day.

It is a well laid out property with a lot of open spaces, good views of the lagoon, a lovely pier, excellent facilities for kayaking and very friendly staff especially the outdoor activities staff. It would be nice if there was beach at the property. I would also suggest that the restaurant should offer local cuisine, we are disappointed not to see local cuisine on the menu. The breakfast buffet spread was really good however it was the same every day with no changes.

Overall the property is nice though it could do with a much needed upgrade as the room is quite dated. It would be nice to experience an island themed night of performances to showcase their culture. Food on offer is ok but there needs to be more variety. The staff are lovely and do their best to accommodate the guests.

Amazing stay! Definitely would be back!

It was the most wonderful experience to stay in Warwick le lagon. It was such pleasure to meet the hotel manager Ramzy, he has done such a good job for the hotel. The peaceful morning kayaking is out of this world. Vanuatu is a long way from London where I live, but for sure I am coming back!

Big lesson learnt from this holiday. Never presume a 5 Star hotel chain is standard throughout the world.
The property is in great need of some TLC after Covid & twin cyclones in 2023. Additionally, its obvious there is no senior management onsite & service & facilities are dropping standards.
With the economy of Vanuatu still trying to recover from Covid,, lets hope there are improvements very soon for this hotel chain, otherwise I dont see a positive future.

Great place to stay. Beautiful grounds and large area. Food was good at the restaurants and the staff was great!
Not many people around so one of our tours was cancelled to the next day but was GREAT when it happened.
I highly recommend this resort!

This property blends in beautifully with the environment and has lovely views over to Erakor Island. The rooms could probably do with some upgrades but they are comfortable with everything you need. This is not a 5* luxury modern hotel, and some people have given it amazingly bad reviews, but we really enjoyed it, and there were plenty of families there enjoying it. We did not think the range of food was great for us - a buffet dinner, but we don't eat that much, and the food in the main restaurant was lovely but very large portions, and a bigger variety of smaller meals would be good. There are only taxis from the resort to town and these can be very hard to get especially on cruise ship days. There are beach activities every day, and small catamarans and kayaks to sail, and a trip to Erakor Island is very easy as the little boat goes from a jetty at the end of the resort. I think this is a really good resort for families.

The staff were amazing and very approachable. The property was looking a bit tired and the restaurants menu had been better in the past.

The best feature of the resort was the friendly and accommodating staff. Cocktails and drinks were delicious however the buffet lacked flair and remained the same most days.
The resort is tired and needs a revamp for the prices being charged in comparison to other similar rated resorts we have stayed. The pools are also great however through in children in what is a relaxing resort and well it becomes noisy, loud and loses the appeal that would make it a relaxing resort. Location is also great with a beautiful view. Make an investment in up dating the facilities and rooms and show some flair and enthusiasm in presenting a more modern cuisine in your buffet and you might just nail it.

We were supposed to have a lagoon sunset trip but it never happened due to engine failure or not enough other people. Internet was very poor and very expensive. But overall stay was very pleasant.

My husband I stayed here for a week. It’s not a 4.5 star resort but more like 3.5. Pools are not heated so majority of people just sat around and didn’t go in. Dinner buffet was average and not worth the money. We ended up eating out for dinner every night after the first buffet experience and can say there are plenty of extremely good restaurants within walking distance or a short bus ride away.
The hotel staff didn’t seem like they were ever happy and apart from Glenda no one really smiled.
We were VIP guests and received a feee boat tour but could never redeem it because they needed 4 people and not to run it. They didn’t even put us on a list so that we might be able to go with another family or couple. They just simply said they couldn’t do it.
This is the only resort that doesn’t have free WiFi - and it is expensive ~$35 a day. Even all cafe’s and restaurants outside the resort had free WiFi.
We were laughed at by the reception staff after asking about a kids activity that was on the notice board. We knew it was a kids activity but still wanted to understand what it was about.
No one was helpful about tours instead we went to the island across the bay who even though we went hotel guest were more then happy to provide information, recommendations and book the tours on your behalf.
Our sheets and towels were not changed in the week we were there.
You can tell the owner does not invest in their staff for development and training.

Food is good alcohol is too expensive

Love the convenience of being able to catch the ferry over to erakor.
I felt like they needed more options for kids, more snack options, some staff were really nice others not at all. The pool area needs a better atmosphere, some days it was pretty boring.

Fantastic resort! Staff were excellent, a special thank you to Jeannette and Stanley for making our stay awesome! The Resort is very well maintained and beautifully located! Room was very comfortable and clean. Lots of dining options was great for a family with kids. Kids loved the Kids club and staff there, with lots of activities to keep them busy all day.Thank you all at the Warwick…

We enjoyed our recent stay. Staff were welcoming and polite. Pools and grounds were immaculate and well maintained. Buffet breakfast was the highlight for the main meals, dinner buffet was underwhelming. Overall a great place to stay and would return in the future. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Overall Warwick Le Lagon, is a lovely property.
The buffet breakfast, is good start to the day. They had lots of western food to choose from, for anyone that likes bacon and eggs.
The pools and access to non motorised water sports are great for when you want a chilled day at the hotel.
Disappointing that WIFI was roughly $120 Australian for 7 days, however quite a few café and places we went offered free WIFI.
Sim cards were cheaper option, which made it easier for the group to communicate.
The local bus and taxi are easy to use.

The location was amazing and there were some very helpful staff. The Teppanyaki was amazing. However, there was a huge wait with service and check in was a disaster. The manager told us we had to go elsewhere because they were at capacity. The buffet dining was cold.

Overall we enjoyed our time atbthe Warwick Vanuatu. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities could be better, variety of food could be better for instance more vegetarian options, more salads, more desserts. For the amount of money we payed, not having internet included was a let down for us.

Great location, only 10 mins from airport. Definitely some areas for improvement including rooms need upgrading, mattresses very uncomfortable, 2xdouble beds for 2A 2 children is a tight squeeze, breakfast buffet was the same every morning, limited vegetarian options in dinner buffet, no tea/coffee station offered for dinner buffet, we went to 4 themed buffet dinners and a lot of the time the food lacked flavour/variety and dessert table was very similar every night, no luggage trolley to take your luggage to your room, pool spa was lukewarm when it should be a lot hotter, fun room had a lot of things that didn't work. Reception seemed to work very slow too, often see 3-4 people there but only one phone in reception so things move very slowly. Improving in these areas would make the resort more of a 4 star. We had a great experience with Eric who worked at the breakfast buffet he was always attentive to our group and made sure there was a reserved table ready for our big group each breakfast.

The Resort was nice and enjoyed walking around the property.
The pools were clean and large and the bar had a good selection of drinks and food.
The Bed was comfortable as were the pillows and everything was clean.
The waterfront location was great and the view from our room was terrific.
We had a couple of frustrations.
The bathroom door was slatted and provided no isolation so everything was audible. A solid Door would have been a smarter choice.
We booked in a couples massage for our second last day 14/9 @ 4Pm. My masseuse was average but my partners was terrible. They were massaging by slapping her body the whole time and have very rough hands. She couldn't wait for it to be over.
Im a remedial massage therapist myself and pretty knowledgeable about various techniques. What she described doesn't fall under any of them. Very disappointing.
Ill be making a Google and Expedia review based on our experiences, the pros and the Cons.

I went with some concerns, given a number of recent poor reviews. There is so much potential for this to be an excellent resort but it just seems a bit tired at the moment and some staff struggle a little with English so that some questions or comments miss the mark.
The property situation is excellent near the lagoon entrance to the sea. Too far to walk to town but there is a shuttle bus stop just off the property. The drivers seem only too happy to oblige requests and far cheaper than taxis.
The pool area is lovely and the water activities are good also.
Our room was comfortable and large enough, but the fan and hair dryer did not work. Room cleaning was adequate.
The morning buffet was the same each day with a reasonable choice. Take some containers or bags and load up for lunch.
The gym was just adequate but seemed to open at various times and could not be opened with the room pass key.
Wifi is very expensive.

Le Lagon does not offer free wi fi, no longer does it have a free boat ride over to Erakor Island or free bus shuttles into town, when we first stayed there in 1997 you would get free in house movies, as they have grown over the years so has the greed, overpriced drinks and food.

Large, low level, spacious resort. Very well laid out.

We had a garden room with ocean views, so, was pleased by that. Room always cleaned and if needing extra towels etc, staff more then happily obliged. One issue with room 803 was it had a window high in bathroom, but we disnt know that it also was built into a side of a hill and two young boys looked in to it. My wife caught them. Did tell resort manager Ramzy and he did fix issue. So was pleased with his response.
One thing i didnt like was when we had dinner, the restaurant manager was constantly staring at our group. We all felt uncomfortable. And unnerving to be honest.
But, all in all, was a nice seven days and recommend it for families.

The staff were friendly, from check in to room attendants, dinner staff breakfast staff and all bar staff couldn’t do enough for our holiday.

Small details in the room but the staff made our stay enjoyable with always great attitude and kindness.

We were disappointed in the property. The main restaurant was very ordinary & the seafood buffet was probably one of the most disappointing dining experiences we have ever had but they certainly charged you a high price for hardly any seafood except for some creamy “seafood” mixture, some frozen prawns & muscles.

Great family holiday

We were expecting better pool facilities for children.

The location is nice, and the resort has a lot potential, but it needs better upkeep and staff more training. Pros: The lagoon is beautiful, and there are lots of activities and events on the daily program. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was good. It's easy to get to the city and other locations using taxis or the local bus service. Cons: There were no towels in our room when we arrived. There are not enough pool towels to go around. The food was average, and we once waited for our food for an hour before we cancelled the order and left (there is a nice Asian restaurant just outside the resort gates). The kettle in the room was broken; the staff were notified but the issue wasn't rectified in the one week we stayed there. The rooms and the outside areas could be cleaner; there was even some broken glass in the pool area. The playground could be cleaner and some parts of it are frankly unsafe.

We had a wonderful stay at Warwick Le Lagon. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 and we had plenty of space. The grounds of the Warwick are very well maintained and you feel like you are in a tropical paradise.
We chose the Warwick because they were able to cater for our 2 daughters that are coeliac. In addition, Warwick has a kids "stay, play and eat free" policy so this was an added bonus as the kids were well taken care of. The kids enjoyed the buffet or specially prepared meals and we enjoyed the choice of restaurants especially the Ginger Leaf Teppanyaki.
It was the added extras that made the Warwick very special. The staff at the Water Sports were very helpful and encouraging and we tried activities we had never done before. We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, the catamarans and snorkelling! There is nightly entertainment and a stand out was the amazing Fire show.

The property remains run down since the cyclones in April.
We were given rooms with issues (no lock on door, no working phone). One of which was below the spec we had booked (though price wasn't reduced). When we complained we were later upgraded slightly but this didn't make up for the initial disappointment.
The hotel has large parts of its roof missing and was unable to supply adequate fresh food (canned fruit mostly and canned ham).
A single two slice toaster was provided for well over 100 guests.
Our balcony on the initial room had a mid terrace roof line at 1.6 metres. I stuck my head hard on this and have hurt my neck Now seeing the doctor here at home. I intend to pursue this as it was so unsafe. There was no warnings at all not on the floor beneath or on the balcony line itself. I have pictures available.
All in all we felt we vastly over paid and want to hear from expedia on this before we take it to the ombudsan.

Loved our stay here (10 nights). Pool, view of the lagoon and the island were beautiful. We had the breakfast Buffett included and the kids ate lunch for free at the pool bar. With the free canoes and sailing boat hire it was really great value for a family and would be happy to go back. The dinner buffets cost around $100 Aus (2 adults) and again the kids eat free. Some nights would pop up to the main supermarket for a cooked curry or whole quiche ($15) or head to town for burgers ($40-$50) or chinese. There was also this local bar which opens around 5.00pm that did chicken skewers and meals for a few bucks (2km away towards town). Local buses (vans) to town or shop costs 150 vatu per adult ($2 Aus). Look for number plates with B on it. The drivers at the front of the hotel can try charging a bit much.
2.0
The pool is excellent and the staff are friendly.
But the restaurant is overpriced.
Buffet is expensive and the range if food and quality if food is not that good. Especially for the 3500vt per head.
