We were out in a handicap accessible room 306. There seemed to be so many other rooms available . Then next door at 304 there was some construction going on. I can't imagine it was an emergency renovation.
At least the staff was incredibly friendly.

Great for what I needed for the night

I have stayed in Double Tree before and was disappointed with the room feeling a bit dated and an older type of mattress that was not real comfortable.
Although when checking in the staff was friendly, but on check out she did not understand basic things we were asking and was not overly friendly. This is something that simple training can resolve.
They gym, albeit quite large was also dated and not well maintained. It appeared that you bought leftovers from a gym closeout. Many of the weights were rusted and the machines did not operate smoothly.

Since we had to travel to Woods Hole for the Steamship Ferry it was conveniently in the middle of Cape Cod

Staff were very responsive. One of the rooms had a noise issue due to vent system for pool. They turned off the system to allow the person in this room to sleep. It was a problem the first night.

The only thing I wish our room came with was a microwave. Other than that the bathroom was awesome. Huge tub and a great shower.

The worst experience of my life. They gave me a room on the first floor close to the pool and road. They said the pool is closed but didn’t say that the workers are fixing the pool. Too many workers were passing by my windows looking inside. I closed the windows and curtains. Lots of noise from street and parking lot. I asked for room change, they said they have none and didn’t accommodate me at all. It’s 2 am and I can’t sleep. The room is moldy and can’t breathe. Already took several medications.

The hotel was spotless. The only thing that could be considered a negative was the hotel was very large and spread out. For a 77 year old it was kind of tough to unload and carry our luggage to out room. We wish there had been a bellman/porter available to help. They did provide a cart but it was a long trip to our rooms and we felt compelled to return the cart out of common courtesy. Overall we were very pleased with out stay and will stay there again the next time we travel to Cape Cod.

The hotel aesthetics were very pretty outside and inside but the bed was not very comfy, the key cards rarely worked, lots of broken equipment in the gym, the bars and restaurants weren’t open Sunday or Monday, the lobby receptionist were very friendly but not very informative. The area surrounding the hotel is definitely a little rough. It was a very convenient location, walking distance to the harbor and downtown shops and restaurants. Lots of shops and restaurants in downtown Hyannis. Also only a 15 minute drive to go whale watching. The outside area was nice to sit out by the fire at night. Some great features of the hotel but it could use a little more updating outside of the lobby areas. Also a pretty quick drive from Boston.

The property was rated 4 stars but in truth it is a 3 star hotel. There is no bellman service and the furnishings and maintenance are 3 and not 4 stars. The airport is located literally next to the airport. Thankfully the airport is not that busy so the noise is tolerable. The king size suite was huge which inspired my son to run up and down in it non-stop! And the staff were all lovely. We enjoyed our stay but I was expecting more for 4 star accommodation. My 9 year old son loved it and thought it was fab.

Reception was not very nice during checkin. She was not outright mean. Maybe she was having a bad day but she seemed angry and rolling her eyes. Gave the energy like she was being bothered. It was uncomfortable. The sheets seemed unclean, they were musty and itchy. The toilet leaked every time it was flushed. There was irons stains on the floor from the leaking toilet.

Top quality accommodation at a reasonable price, located close by the Hyannis Transportation Center that gives bus service to Boston and to the whole of Cape Cod, and only a mile from the Hyannis airport terminal. So it is an ideal 'rest stop' whether travelling to or from the Cape.

For the price I would’ve stayed elsewhere for a little bit more. Not as nice as the pictures online. I’ve never been disappointed staying at a Doubletree until now. Won’t stay here again.

Old building, no included breakfast, expensive food when ordered and old gym with broken equipment. On check out I asked for 20 mins as was running late and house keeping kept knocking on my door asking if I was going!!!!

Beautiful hotel that I have stayed in many times - my only wish would be for a breakfast in the morning that wasn't so expensive. Lovely location and pool facilities.

The property should not have 4 stars. Our room had popcorn ceilings and popcorn wall. Bathroom had cracks in wall. I would say 3 stars at the very most. It was a very basic hotel.

We arrived early and luckily we were able to get into our room. The staff was very friendly and did a great job. Loved the outdoor pool. Would highly recommend.

The inside of the hotel needs updating. The workout room must be cleaned. No towels provided for guests and it was dirty. There was plenty of equipment but many of the machines did not work. The grounds outside were nicely kept but the rooms needed to be refreshed. The pictures on the website falsely advertise the condition of the rooms and workout room and really should be updated. I would not stay there again.

Great place to stay! Clean! Friendly staff.. warm cookies. If fitness center is important, this is for you! Has an entire gym! I intended on taking the week off but couldn’t resist working out here.

Late check in and early check out times compared to other hotels.
Asked for a late check out due to day lights saving - hotel was empty and was told no I have to be out of the room by 11! Staff was not polite and demanded I get out as someone was coming into the room. The hotel had plenty of empty rooms so was taken back at how unprofessional the encounter was.
