Hotel was obviously something else before it became a comfort inn. Room was spacious and bed confortable. It could have used a good deep clean in the bathroom. The rest of room was fine.

I stay here often won't go anywhere else. The staff here are amazing,friendly, professional,and very helpful. They always make me and my family feel welcomed and comfortable.Its very clean and quiet.

Do not stay here. Spend the extra money on a better motel. It's old and dingy. Our room smelled like mold/mildew and musty. We could not even take a shower because of how bad the mold smell was in the bathroom like if we spent too much time in there likely we would be sick. OurTV didn't work and finally went to get a replacement remote but it had to press a bunch of buttons just to turn it on. The beds were so hard we didn't getany sleep

The room wasn’t anything like the photos, it was very run down. The curtains were dirty, torn and had cigarette burns. The mattress was covered with what looked like blood stains with splatters on the wall next to it. The couch was extremely worn out, carpet was old and stained. Breakfast was awful, the man cooking breakfast kept wiping his hands on his dirty pants. We loved the location, front desk staff were friendly, would love to stay again if we could get better room next time.

The hotel was in the heart of redding city. The rooms were clean and the staff was courteous. There was a complementary breakfast as well. I would definitely come back to thus place if need be. Recommended

The sink was backed up really bad, the shower was clogged, and there was no screen on the window, and someone could easily fall out of it. It’s definitely an older hotel that has been revamped. It has a lot of potential and the decor is actually kind of cute. The breakfast was decent but probably won’t stay again.

I am very impressed with this location very nice comfortable rooms (beds especially) one of our rooms did have a toilet issue and it was taken care of immediately! 😃 The breakfast was outstanding with an abundance to chose from. All staff very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back! And will highly recommend Comfort Inn Redding, Ca Thank you again for a great stay!! J Pulizzi

My brother and his kids requested a refund because there was feces on the bed, they hotel put them in another equally dirty room so they left and stayed somewhere else. I have called hotels.com who is supposed to be requesting a full refund.

I stayed here for work and the whole time my bathtub drain wasn’t draining. I asked several times to have it fixed and instead of moving all my stuff to another room I trusted they would get it fixed. Then my toilet wouldn’t flush and because the chain on the handle snapped and they didn’t fix ThT either after being notified. Carped was also dirty and the area surrounding was kind of sketchy. On more then one occasion I got back from work late at night and could hear people yelling not even a block from the building.

I like that the room we stayed in didnt have carpet. I also like that they are dog friendly and the room we got slept my family of 6 comfortably.

Mold in shower,sink plugged it drained SLOWLY ,dusty above bed , elevators were very dirty not wiped down the full three days we were there so I bought Lysol , you can literally see it around buttons and walls when you get in..staff was nice.Carpets in room needs professional cleaning and you should COMPLETELY strip bed wash all ...shower drippes and drains slow..you have to keep eye on vehicles due to tweakers and homeless, hopefully no more dead people,,,

The front desk staff were fantastic and the breakfast was good. The toilet in first room didn’t work so we moved to another room. When I woke up I noticed a yellow stain on one corner of the comforter, it was (dog?) pee. It reeked! looked over the rest of the comforter and there were several yellow spots along the edges. The pee marks weren’t visible at first because of the coverlet. I was given a refund, again, the staff were great. However, they need to ensure their cleaning protocols are being followed to ensure guests aren’t getting disgusting, unhygienic rooms.

One night stay for medical appointment. Stayed on the second floor and woke up to the people above us walking around ALOT!!! Like not a normal amount at 6am. Would stay here again, but only on the third floor. Clean, safe and a decent breakfast.

Really liked just whipping down to this motel from the I5. Also… parking directly by the door and manager provided us a room on main floor with little walking. ( requested) Tried to fix the tv but to no avail. My hubby REALLY wanted to watch the NFL game! Also the remote numbers didn’t correspond with the channels. Fridge really didn’t work which was problematic as I have meds that must be refrigerated. Loved the idea of the breakfast but would love the option of a few grab and go items ( muffins, fruit, granola bar) as we had to leave before the buffet opened at 6! Overall a good stay!

this hotel charged me a $200 cash deposit because i had a local address on my driver's license. never in my 64 years of life have i ever been charged such a fee. the website also said there was a hot tub. when we arrived we were told the hot tub was only seasonal and closed in December. if we had known these 2 facts, we never would have booked your hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at this Comfort Inn as we were passing through Redding. The furnishings are quite worn, but the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was excellent. For under a hundred, I think this hotel was a great value.

This has to be the worst place I have ever booked! Lobby furniture first clue. Old stained furniture. Didn’t smell clean when I walked in. Room was even worse. Horrible smell, dirty stained carpets. The sofa bed looked like had been in a garage with dogs on it. Old food in frig. I was afraid to even look at mattress! I turned around and left!!! Beware!!! And drug area!!

Well, overall, everything was great. It was obvious the building is under some new renovations. That it does need updating, things are a little worn, but our room was nice. It was roomy. Things were a little bit dirty in area's, but not bad. But all the staff was just great. The breakfast was great. We just had a really good time. It was conveniently located. We'll stay again.

I have to give a shout out to Crystal at the front desk. She was SO accommodating and helpful. The hotel is understaffed - like EVERY business these days - but Crystal went out of her way to get us what we wanted.
