Nice hotel with great amenities. Clean and housekeeping knocked daily for anything we might need. The staff was always nice and greeted everyone with a smile. Location was great for a weekend football tournament at the local Sportsplex.

Hotel had a very unpleasant smell in the main hall and the room wasn't very clean (had a large chunk of fingernail on the bathroom counter - ugh). Overall, the facility is worn and a little dingy. On the plus side, all of the employees we encountered were great and went out of their way to be friendly.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The overall state of the hotel is good. The rooms was perfect. And it is very convenient to many things! During our stay they were out of some staples in the restaurant. We were on the first floor and had to walk by the fitness center. The odor was strong and the hallway smelled like a house school locker room after a football game.

Was dissatisfied with TV channels, only choices were sports channels, no movie, local news or HBO even. No coffee available in the lobby, unless you buy it from bistro?! At $125 + a night, there should be complimentary coffee in the lounge during morning hours.

I definitely will be staying here when I travel each month to Matthews. The staff was great from the warm smiles, to giving us recommendations on food and directions to where I needed to go.

The lady who checked me in was on her phone the whole time it took her 15mins to get me situated and I had a reservation already paid in full. My tv had no remote and she told me she didn’t have one to give me. Then I realized she put me in a handicapped room and the shower made a mess she said she didn’t realize it but she could switch me. She just had terrible customer skills. The room however was very clean

Room and bathroom are very nice and specious. Some unknown young peoples were in the parking lot away from the entrance for so long with their car doors open and looking sitting in and walking

I did not like the fire alarm going off in my room in the middle of the night, due to the batteries. I also thought there was going to be a breakfast there.

Not happy with my stay -- A/C didn't cool properly, my room was at the end of the hall by the entrance/exit. Loud and noisy. Carpet was damp.

Very nice place! Friendly staff. The place advertised their swimming pool but it was closed and would not open for another month. Very disappointing. The pool was the reason I selected this hotel.

Had a wonderful stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing, especially Erin. From check in until a few hours after check out, Erin was most helpful and cheerful while doing so. She even went out of her way to overnight an item we had left in the room...can't say thanks enough!! The pool is really small but the gym is nice sized and clean with equipment for a full workout. Breakfast was not buffet as stated. You actually order from the bistro, we actually skipped this (lost $$ there). No morning coffee unless you use what's in the room or purchase from bistro. Should just add a few bucks and do continental breakfast...just my thoughts. All in all a great stay.

Bathroom wasn't clean upon arrival at 7:30pm. Informed front desk the following morning. Bathroom still was not cleaned when I returned that evening. Counting - 2 days of uncleaned bathroom. Alerted front desk and was told that the manager would be notified first thing the next day. Note was put in my reservation file. Called front desk at 7am (Day 3) to ask that housecleaning come right away. Was told housecleaning didn't arrive on the property until 9am. Call front desk at 9:15am, as no one had come to clean bathroom. Was told that Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. No sign my door. At 9:30am called front desk again and was told that housecleaning came by and there was no one in the room. I was sitting in the room. Went down to the front desk at 10am, to be told that they had gone to the the wrong room twice. SHM.

Average type hotel with small rooms. The hotel was clean but sits at the street of route 74 that is very busy and difficult to exit property. Found it easier to take a back alley and around to find shops that are a bit further away and better restaurants.

Realized early in the evening that the AC in my first room was not working. They switched our rooms around 11pm. The next morning in the new room, we realize that the Wi-Fi and all phones in the hotel were down. This was essential to me since I went for business.

The only downfall of this location was that my water didn’t get hot, on my last day. I was on the third floor, not sure if that played a part. Other than that I just slept there and I didn’t have any issues.

My little family has been staying in this hotel every couple of weeks when we visit our friends and it hasn’t disappointed us even once.

We arrived at the hotel on Jan 14 only to find that the reservation we made for Jan 14-15 was actually booked for Jan 8-9. It was paid in full at the time of booking. Now we have to pay again and Expedia won't refund me for the reservation we didn't use. I am so far beyond angry right now. I was trying to make the reservation directly with the hotel but the website kept sending me to Expedia which I think must have changed the dates.
