My first impression when I walked into the lobby was that it was very nice and comfortable! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The room was perfect for me! It had everything i needed for my stay! Wish the bed was more comfortable but it was fine for my stay!

Great hotel with excellent service and perfect location. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. This was my second stay at the hotel and I honestly don't see why I would choose any other one when coming to the old city.

Super convenient for walking and eating around. Front desk staff is amiable, knowledgeable and helpful! Love the common area at the ground floor. It is cozy, families and friends can spend some time together there.

Can’t beat the location right in the heart of the old city. We had only a 1 night stay but everything was great. Especially appreciated their cozy lounge with fruit and water and coffee when we had time to kill after checkout and the weather outside was poor

This was our second stay at Hotel Du Vieux. The hotel is beautiful, warm, and unique. The staff is always so pleasant, professional, and very helpful. The location is fabulous since you can walk to everything.

The property and location have a lot of character. It's near shopping and restaurants as well as walking distance to everything. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We loved our rooms which were well maintained and again had so much character. We were happy our entire stay and look forward to returning some day.

Our stay was wonderful, the location was perfect, easy access to the Christmas markets, and restaurants (as recommended by the hotel. Front desk staff was very welcoming and accommodating, Vincent and Pierrot were outstanding with their recommendations, answering all of our questions and helping us to navigate the city. We enjoyed the lounge with the 24/7 coffee and game room. Thank you Hotel Du Vieux Quebec, we hope to be back!

Outstanding hotel. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Coffee all day in a game and meeting room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great, close to restaurants, bars and shops in Old,Town. Quebec City was all decorated for Christmas. A delightful trip.

What an incredible stay! Close to Christmas markets, which was ideal. The rooms were immaculate and for it being an older building, it was very quiet. The staff was so kind and helpful! Shout out to Perriot ( front desk afternoon staff). He was so great( as was everyone else). He even put in the system what room we liked should we ever be done Quebec City way.

Hotel Du Vieux is a great hotel in a wonderful location right in the middle of old town, amongst all the shops, restaurants and history. I would highly recommend it, but beware, I was charged an extra amount due to having three people in the room instead of two. I specifically ordered a room with two queen beds not knowing there was an upcharge to add a third person to the room. Other than that, we had a great stay.

It was a fine old building in the heart of old Quebec City but also had all the modern conveniences one could hope for. By leveraging the parking at City Hall, everything was convenient and easy to reach.

Found this hotel to be convenient for all our tours. Breakfast baskets to your room with fresh pastry, yogurt, cheese and orange juice Vey convenient. Beautiful hotel, polite staff and great coffee bar

We loved that although the property was made with modern looks and amenities, it also was made to feel very cozy by staying true to its old Quebec looks and feel. The lounge area was tranquil and welcoming. The staff were also so helpful and kind, and were very accommodating speaking English as my French is not the greatest. We are from Ontario and came to celebrate our 1yr wedding anniversary. We are very much looking forward to returning in the future!

Our tiny room was very comfortable and the beautiful exposed rock wall reminded us we were in historical Quebec City. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere. Restaurants, patisseries, pubs all right outside our door. The staff was ever helpful and always friendly from front desk to cleaners. And, the lounge with wonderful complimentary espresso maker was perfect to relax with friends for an afternoon break.

Staff very friendly/helpful especially Pierrot at the front desk. He provided us with great breakfast/dinner suggestions and was very helpful all around. We did the breakfast basket room delivery which was fine and good but not sensational as other comments. Overall I highly recommend this place for value, location and service.

It's a very pretty property, halfway between the upper and lower town. Price used to include breakfast. Sorry that's gone. Staff very nice, especially Pierrot at front desk. Not many options for good dining nearby. Either a short hike up or the incline down for better options. But would recommend this hotel.

We made a last minute reservation at the Vieux Quebec. The man at the reservation desk was so nice and even told us about the breakfast option in the morning - a picnic breakfast delivered to the room. Wonderful!
