Hotel was having renovations completed so it was noisy until about 6 PM room was too hot and thermostat did work very well so we just turned the air handler off.

The hotel was under construction! The lobby was closed. The pool was closed. The noise level in the early morning was unwelcome! I wish the construction was noted on the booking page. I would have chosen another hotel.

Absolutely awful. We paid £145 for one night, and the hotel is a building site. The pool, spa and restaurant are all out of order with tarps laid out on the floor, and there’s no lobby. The only place you can be in the hotel is in your room. Which is dingy. The staff are unhelpful and unfriendly. Despite the hotel displaying a guarantee to “make things right”, they’ve made no effort to make our stay comfortable. We asked for a partial refund because the room was not as advertised, and they flat out refused. The hotel manager has a “you don’t like it? Sue me” vibe. If you don’t care about making your customers enjoy their stay, don’t work in the hospitality industry. Never staying in a Hilton again.

The website did not indicate that the hotel was under consideration, we had to enter through the back which was a bit unnerving since there was a homeless person trying to warm up under the vent. We usually like to stay here because of the pool but again there was nothing on the site indicating that it was out of service. The satff was friendly.

Expedia really screwed this reservation up. Called Expedia and changed the dates of the reservation 2 weeks before. Staff at the Hilton finally got the reservation straight after waiting 1.5 hrs at front desk. Representative for Expedia was very rude on the phone. I had the emails confirming the change of reservations. The mistake was on Expedia’s end. Probably the last time I use Expedia. Staff at the Hilton garden inn went above and beyond expectations!! The lady at the front desk was rude, she seemed bothered that she had to get up and assist me, she did let me check in early at first she wasn’t going to let me so I asked if she can store my bags till we checked in? She didn’t want to do that so she checked me in but was not happy . Her body language and the look on her face makes me never want to stay there again.

The only thing is that some rooms or my room had little bits of cracking around the edge of the jacuzzi in the room and a little bit of wear and tire but just need to get those parts together. But overall just miner things to fix and also a little peeling patch on the ceiling.

Numerous stains to carpeted areas especially outside the 3rd floor elevator. The orange chair outside the elevator has a recent stain and the carpets there should be replaced. This is not to reflect staff as you can only clean something that should be replaced so much. I will choose another hotel next time.

We stayed 2 nights at the property, once before and once after our trip to Denali. Shuttle was perfect to and from airport and train station, and driver very helpful with luggage and scheduling. Staff recommendation for lunch was great and there were 3 restaurants within a block to walk to. Helpful, friendly people everywhere.

The only thing I have to complain about is the thermostat wasn’t working and the room was really stuffy and we had been hoping to get the air conditioning on. The staff member said they would try to find somebody to come work on it and that never happened and we never had any further communication regarding that. However, the room was clean & comfortable and we still had a nice day once we figured out how to open the window.

Upon arrival I was informed that the ac was broken in my room. They asked if I was okay with that. I replied no and had to request another room with working ac. They gave us another room and that ac was loud and barely worked.

This place was clean and nice. But the hot tub was broke and when we went to shower there were no towels, we called to get towels and were told there were no clean towels. We had to request that they was sole for us, extremely inconvenient and we shouldn’t have to request to have towels washed so we can have a shower.
