The lady that checked us in was RUDE, we had our grandbabies with us as they wanted to go swimming for a bit, which is why we picked this hotel, the hotel was under renovations, she said very rudely to us, there is no pool, no pool at all, you cannot use the pool because we are renovating, even my youngest grandbaby (5) said well you don't have to be mean to tell us. Maybe take your options of a pool off your website and expedia for those expecting a pool, and teach that lady some customer service

The place was under construction. I would not have stayed if I knew this. The breakfast was not great. "Grab and go" no hot food unless you microwave it. The heater was loud and never shut off. It was either blowing cold air or hot air at all times. The tv stations were very glitchy and kept freezing. The shower curtain didnt stay closed so water sprayed all over the bathroom. Lots of things needed repair. It was not a bad experience i guess...but I wouldn't stay unless the construction was done.

Customer was great. The person at the front desk explained the construction/remodel. It was disappointing to find out that the pool/spa was not working and the breakfast was extremely limited due to the construction, then per the front desk person, the order didn't arrive in the morning for breakfast.

My husband, a disabled veteran, and I live remotely in Willow Alaska. For our 31st Wedding Anniversary we drove 100 miles for a relaxing few days by the pool and hot tub. Breakfast on site. Some tlc from Alaskas unrelenting winter. At check in they say, oops, no pool, no hot tub, no gym, no breakfast!! So we get to our room and it won't get warmer than 60°.... So they move us downstairs into the lobby that's under construction next to the front door with a broken drape and no tub.. a trickling shower.. breakfast was a Jimmy Deans frozen sandwich and yogurt.. nothing to drink! So at check out I asked to speak to the manager and the young lady identified herself as the asst mgr.. I explained my feelings with kindness.. it wasn't her fault but no one has followed up. I didn't want a refund just to be able to come back when they fix the pool...

Most of the amenities at this property were closed during my stay, which wasn’t mentioned when I booked, so my family and I weren’t able to use the pool or hot tub which is the main reason I chose this hotel. Wallpaper was falling off the walls in the bathroom, dust was piled up in the corners, and the front desk staff was incompetent.

I have the worst experience ever I stay there for two days and I can’t sleep because of the horrible noise that the people upstairs made, I talked to the front desk and they didn't do anything and my son didn't want to sleep because of the noise, the worst experience I've ever had, In the two days that I was staying I was not able to rest well with my family, if I had known that I would not have chosen that hotel, it was my first time in that place.

I called to find out what time the pool closed and the staff was rude. They said since I booked with a 3rd party I couldn’t be notified. Staff never apologized or gave me a discount or anything. Even the workout room was under construction. Lesson learned call the hotel personally before booking with a 3rd party.

The charges for the room seem to change and the lady couldn't tell me why and when I checked out I had to be very persistent to get a receipt for our stay. The lady that worked the breakfast area was excellent as she gave us very helpful ideas for breakfast combinations and also made sure everything was filled and had a very nice personality.

Our first room’s AC didn’t work and the room was 80 degrees. When we were leaving for dinner, the receptionist was supposed to send someone to fix the AC. When we returned from dinner, the room was still 80 and ac not working. They sent us to another room at 11pm. We had to repack all our things to move. This wasn’t easy with 2 young kids. Very inconvenient.

The room was not the one we requested nor what was on the email print out. The counter staff went as far as blaming us for doing something wrong. We showed her the reservation print out. Also the toilet was somewhat clogged and several lights didn’t work. Some of the staff was friendly.

We stayed on the ground floor. There were plumbing issues, broken bathroom tiles and dirty or stained bathtub. Carpet looked worn and damage. Great breakfast. Pleasant staff if you say hello first.

Great comfortable stay. I was disappointed that the Pool and Jacuzzi were not available to us. We chose to stay here rather than another hotel based on the fact that they had a jacuzzi to relax in.

There was not even a phone in the hotel room. The heating system blew cold air then hot air all night so it was freezing cold and uncomfortable. When i went to check out I told them and they didnt seem to care. The hotel seems older and kind of dingy. Will not be staying here again.

We travel frequently to Anchorage and stay in hotels a lot and this one is at the top of our list to stay at again---Check in was quick, easy, friendly, and helpful. Beds are not to hard not to soft---Just right! Breakfast has good variety. Place is clean and doesn't have that "hotel" smell, smells fresh and clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

It is the first time that I have stayed at this hotel and I chose it among others for its pool and as an added value the access that I was going to have to Netflix. The pool is closed and they don't know when it will reopen and Netflix is not working due to technical problems.

I’m really pissed off. The pool is closed for maintenance and they said we can walk across to their “sister hotel” to use their pool. The lady at the front desk had an attitude and said “that’s why most people call before they book”. It wasn’t on the website or anything cause I asked and she said no then said that’s why most people call. They won’t transfer me over to the sister hotel Crowne Plaza. We had to drive over to swim because I wasn’t about to have these girls walking all the way around the building in the cold after swimming. So we get back to the room to eat and watch movies and I called to the front desk and said we were having problems connecting to the Netflix on the tv. “Oh that doesn’t work. We have Wi-Fi though”. I went out to the hallway to take a moment and walk off my anger. I go to come in and my key doesn’t work. I just wanted my child to have fun swimming and watching movies with her friend. Also being told that the full breakfast is not being served. I chose the hotel for its amenities and the good reviews but we weren’t able to get the full experience that I paid for.

The place is so poorly constructed that you could hear the people in the room just walking around and it was loud! They started at 5 am and didn’t stop until 7ish. I was amazed (I have worked construction) that the noise carried that badly. The pool and spa were also not inservice which sucked too.

It’s an older property, staff was pleasant but not friendly, pool was closed the entire time, and they had to shut the water off for several hours during our stay. I would choose something else next time I’m in town.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Close to the airport. Breakfast adequate, coffee plentiful. Only negative is the room picture shown on website had a separate sitting area, but the room i got didn't. So a smaller, less comfortable space for the higher price. I sould have complained, but after a 30 hour flight didn't have the energy.

We had to get clean sheets for one of the beds. Staff was rude and unapologetic when we explained the issue and asked for clean sheets even though we made the bed ourselves.

bathroom sink wasn’t draining. No fan in bathroom so bathroom fogged up after showering. Bathroom tile broken by the toilet. Found a long black hair on shower curtain. Keys didn’t work for us on our second night and didn’t work for the fitness area either so had to go to front desk to have them fix it. Overall it was fine and felt clean, bed was clean and staff was nice and helpful but it wasn’t what we expected.

Room is decent. Staff was not so friendly, didn't seem happy. Costco water was offered "free" to other guests. But when it was us, they didn't say anything. We had to to buy the water.
