I liked this hotel because it was close to Paddington station. Many small hotels were around and we felt safe at night because there were a lot of people around. In the hotel workers were very friendly. We requested a room on the first floor and they kindly gave it to us.

On arrival we asked a few questions to the reception guy but he was not the friendliest and really didn’t want to take time to speak to us Every time we popped to reception the staff were outside the front door smoking We expected a cooked breakfast, instead we had damp cereal that had clearly been in the tub for a long while and hard croissants Room was tiny

If you are looking for A place to sleep and nothing more, it’s quite alright. We ate all our meals outside the hotel, because We did not expect much of the hotel breakfast.

The room was so small I had to leave it to change my mind. While everything was clean, it was hard to move around and the best was very hard. Location is fab and staff lovely but rooms leave much to be desired.

Nice cozy room at the top of the building, the hotel emailed us in advance to warn us it is a small room! NIce area and easy walk to Paddington station and Hyde Park. Clean and mostly comfortable room, but the window handles were falling off / had fallen off the frame and so it was not easy to close them. Also the pillows were really firm which did not suit us.

My mother in law and I stayed here for a one night stay. We were greeted by a nice receptionist and check in was smooth and easy. He explained the directions to our room and off we went. We had to go down a set of very steep stairs to get to the ground floor, en route there was hotel items crammed into every corner, behind doors, in the corridors. There was a very narrow corridor which you would struggle to get a suitcase through. Upon entering the room, I was disappointed to see it was very outdated (think 90’s decor). The bathroom isn’t for for purpose, poor layout, and absolutely NO room for you to place down your toiletries. The sink took a dry long time to clear, when you were washing your face or rinsing your teeth. The shower was powerful though.

This room is unbelievably small including the tiny, tiny bathroom. It really is only for one person not two. Any interaction with staff was rude. Would not stay here again.

Very small rooms and bathroom.. No aircondition in the rooms and the elevator does not cover the entire floor.. have to climb some stairs which can be very narrow and steep to get to some of the rooms. Very difficult to maneuver with large suitcases. Bathrooms, very cramped without a vanity area to rest toiletries etc. The first day wifi was spotty and needed to go into the corridor to connect but as soon as returned to the room it would drop..However, this was fixed the following day after talking to the front desk.

Convenient for a one night stay. Unfortunately the bathroom smelled like smoke. Otherwise everything was fine: simple and as expected. A good night of sleep and a strong shower.

The room is ok but no air conditioning . We had to open the window and curtains in order to get cool air. But there was a window across from us seem to be a hotel staff living quarter. They can see us inside our room. I had to shut off the light to get a little privacy. I will not return nor recommend to anyone.

The rooms are SMALL. I wouldn’t recommend this room to someone with too much luggage or much taller than 5’8. We booked this as our original hotel cancelled on us. Bed was very hard. Shower was very tiny. There was a lift that went to the third floor only and we pressed for it and it never came so I’m unsure if it even worked. Close to paddington station which was nice. Many restaurants and pubs in the area.

The location was superb. Close to shops and restaurants and transportation was a short walk away. All though we knew the room would be small, we didn't think it would be as small as it was. We made do so no problem.

On 4th floor...up in the roof.. no good if your over 6foot tall..got bad knees...or got big suitcases... glad we were only there for a 1 night stay...

To be honest, my room was larger than I expected. London hotels tend to be very small rooms. The bathroom and shower were good sized and clean. This hotel is just a couple blocks from Paddington station (and the Heathrow express) which makes it far cheaper than staying at the airport.

Heater did not work, toilet too small (cannot change clothes inside), shower did not work properly (less water with low water pressure). The breakfast had less choices and not value for money. The customer service of the receptionist in the night shift is very poor and impolite.

Couldn’t fault the property or staff at all and would stay again. However I will not be booking through Expedia again as I’ve had nothing but trouble since the start of the booking, charged twice (thankfully I noticed) and wasn’t met by unhelpful staff when trying to get a refund. Upon arriving at the hotel they had no record of our booking (Expedia hadn’t sent the confirmation) but thankfully I could prove my booking and there was a spare room otherwise we would have been stranded!!! This is my first experience with Expedia and will definitely be the last

Great location. Staff very helpful. When we mentioned a problem with the shower, it was repaired by the evening. Excellent breakfast. Bathroom rather small. Overall, a good stay.

Location is excellent. Room was small and smelled of old cigarettes. Clean but I stayed 3 nights and the bedding was never changed. Breakfast was not provided with the room. Really, for the price, breakfast should be included. Staff was helpful and kind. I would stay again.

Theo from reception was helpful in fixing a tv issue. The ensuite single room was very small, but adequate. There was no AC, but a portable fan was provided. Location and proximity to Paddington station was excellent.

The hotel is good for a night stay. In case you have lots of luggage avoid it as you have to climb floors even though there is a lift there are two guys at the reception. One is superb and one needs to be told what you need. It's clean and hygienic.

Dirty floor, no vacuum, fan in the bathroom didn’t work. I requested repair to three different staff members but nothing was done. People kept door open when they cleaned the room allowing mosquitoes to come to the room. It was cold in London. We couldn’t control heat in the room. Every night I had to come up to the front desk or call them to turn on the heat, The staff are careless about customers.

Perfect location, was very noisy at night due to single glazed windows. The quilts were really thick and got very hot in the night. Bathroom had slit of limescale and the kettle and didn’t looked like it had been cleaned. Easy check in and out and they let us leave our bags there all day after checkout.
