Around! Complimentary breakfast was ok…was just grab and go, though. Would have liked to see the waffle maker, eggs, etc others usually offer. Place was on the older side but staff were great and close enough to places for walking distance. Definitely would stay again

Great place for our family getaway. Friendly staff, close to everything, thoughtful details. The free breakfast was great! It’s a cold breakfast, but tasty and a big value and convenience for us. The full kitchen in the suite was great as well. Oh, and the front desk had a “treasure map” for kids that our family loved!

Very nice hotel, walking distance to fun arcade games and the beach. Room was excellent and well kept as we had pets, we were in the first floor suite with a patio. It was just a walk out the patio door and to the pet area. We didn’t have to walk all the way through the hotel to take the dogs to go potty!! I would like to see a hook on the wall or doors to keep your dry, as well as a sign stating they are eco friendly and to reuse the towels you use to save water electricity.
The only thing they need to improve on is breakfast. For as much as we spend for the room, which has a kitchen or not, we should get a good breakfast, eggs, sausage, hash-browns, yogurt, granola, etc…cereal, muffins, and bagels and oranges/apples are really not breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, and have already raved about our room to others!

First time staying here and we had a great experience. We drove up from Portland to stay for the night with our family and dog. The one bedroom was large enough for 2 adults, one teenager (couch pullout) and we had enough space in the bedroom for our pop up crib for our toddler. Front desk was quick to answer any questions we had and our room was clean. Super quick walk to shops and down to the beach/boardwalk.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated, having the refrigerator and microwave. The room was comfortable a tiny bit small. We were just there for a basketball tournament for the weekend. Walking distance to the beach and little shopping area, was a very convenient location.

Last night was my first time staying at Rivertide Suites Hotel. A jetted tub and fireplace lured me there, and a fantastic experience (easy & friendly check in/out, clean & safe hotel/unit and convenient to most things in Seaside) will bring me back. It was just the relaxing night I needed!

Love the spaciousness of the room and the easy mobility around it. (Accessibility room). Staff were friendly and helpful. Appreciated being able to bring my dog (She had a great time also!)

Hotel was nice and love the area. Only downsides were the heater didn't really work too well (had hotel come up and try to fix, too) and the pool environment was pretty out of control with unsupervised (no adults present) children roughhousing with ball-throwing and cannonball splashing. It was a minor annoyance until my 7yo daughter was struck hard on her head by a football.

Staff was amazing and friendly. The hotel was clean and good amenities but many of the items in the suite (dishes, silverware, hair dryer etc) were not there and the upstairs neighbors were loud and disrespectful all night. I will definitely stay again but will request top floor and assurance that all items needed (and advertised as being included) are there to make the stay more relaxing and enjoyable.
I was very impressed with the genuine friendliness and helpfulness of all staff as well as their professionalism and knowledge of the local attractions and surrounding area.

The only downside was the breakfast. No hot breakfast, only cerial and cold boiled eggs. I'd expect more from this wonderful hotel.

We liked that the room had kitchen. We also enjoyed pool and hot tube, although pool water was a little chilly. What we did not like: standard studio room was way too small, furniture was a bit outdated. The biggest dissappointment was breakfast, it was probably the worst breakfast we ever had in hotels, it was basically just boiled eggs, cereal with milk and bagels. However we enjoyed our stay there, the location is very convenient and the stuff was helpfull and nice.

We loved that we were able to upgrade for a low cost to a river side view room on the 4th floor. The rooms had everything we needed and were spotless! Would highly recommend staying here. Will be making this our place from now on!!

Very nice. Heat wasn’t working. They fixed it right away. My only complaint is that the cleaning staff could do a little bit better. Hair where I shouldn’t be finding it. Fans definitely need to be cleaned. This time and last time, very dirty fans. Other then that, very nice.

We had a room at the end overlooking the intersection so loud vehicles were a problem at night. On the 40-degree day when we arrived the unit was cold. (Thermostat was set to 66 and “off”, not “heat”.) Turned heat on, but it was slow to come out of the vent. I noticed the door to the furnace closet wasn’t locked so I looked in. The furnace filter was packed full (photo). The furnace was noisy as it cycled on and off all night. The unit had new laminate (previously carpet - we’re regulars), but the fit and finish were not impressive. They’ve moved the breakfast area. It looks nice, but it’s about half the previous size. In its place is a new beverage and lounge area. It looked nice, but we didn’t spend any time there. All-in-all it’s nice to see them keep the units and common areas up, but they need to follow up on the “trades” and not neglect regular maintenance. We’ll certainly return, but request a room away from the intersection.

Although the property was nice, I was disappointed upon arrival when I found out I was going to be charged $30 per pet, per night. I would have appreciated this being disclosed openly before arrival, so I could have planned accordingly. What could have been spent towards our anniversary was instead spent on our dogs being able to sleep inside where it was warm. I would have left them home with family if I would’ve known the cost. Hopefully the property can be more open about the cost so other people are not blindsided like we were. Disappointed was an understatement.

We have stayed in this hotel multiple times in the past three years and this stay is our last. Our room was not clean. We found cupcakes that had been in the cupboard over a week. The carpet was filthy and crusty. The heat in our room didn’t work and it was below freezing outside. We told the staff in the morning and they addressed it. They charged a pet deposit, but they don’t clean carpet between visits as there were wet spots and stains everywhere. Furniture was being stored in the stairwells, which is a fire hazard. To say this property has breakfast is a joke. They only had 3 choices of cold cereal and bagels.
Very disappointed. The hotel has gone way down hill since we stayed in the spring.

Easy walk to Ocean boardwalk, lots of Shopping. Nice property.. Staff very friendly and dog friendly. Just no comfort area for dogs... outside on property

What can I say?
I came to spend some time alone and write. I got just as I desired.
The breakfast was nice, the room super clean.
The coffee was a local company not a national chain and was so good. Unlimited as well. I didn't have to make it.
The jetted tub was glorious!
I'll be back to visit again next year!

This is a lovely property within easy walking distance of everything in Seaside. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are great.

The property is very nice and clean. Our only complaint is how noisy it was. There was a fan or something going off and on all the time and it was very loud. Woke us up throughout the night. Also, the blankets on the bedding could be updated. They are very stiff and thin.

Our stay was wonderful! So many great things about this place. After reading some reviews, I was nervous but it was great! From the fresh, fruit water to the amazing staff...we loved every minute! The hotel itself is dated, but the customer service is worth every penny! It's close walking distance to everything that you need!
