If the pool had frosted windows we would have used it. The pool is located so when anyone comes or goes from the hotel, anyone in the pool is looked at, no form of privacy at all.
Our mattress was old, we could feel the springs, almost the worst mattress we have slept on.
Location is excellent, on broadway at one end of the shops and easy walking to the beach. Views of the river are a plus.

Bathroom smelled like mold. When you pull open the shower curtain there was mold across the bottom and mold on the ceiling.
The staff was great and friendly. Breakfast was good and kid approved. They changed it up every couple of days.
The hotel design and feel is old, but to be expected for old buildings and was not a problem.
The location and view was great.
