Very good hotel, very close to the beach. Accommodated beach goers by having beach towels and a wash off hose easily accessible. I will come back to this location. Very nice people.

We enjoyed our time in Newport. The hotel was in a great location with easy access and lots of close dining. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean and we felt safe. I will definitely stay there again!

Very close to the beach. Not walkable, but only 5 min away. Had an excellent pizza and salad at 22nd Street Pizza. Highly recommend. Great help, very friendly and man was that pizza GOOD. Way better than the crap you eat from chain restaurants. The hotel is simple. But clean.

This was a great place to stay, the service was great and the room was affordable. The only thing that bothered us is how loud the highway is when you are trying to sleep.

First time staying and would totally do it again. Great location within walking distance to the beach which was main draw. They provide beach towels if you need them. Great Vacancy Coffee place to get breakfast in the morning and restaurants close (Casablanca was great and enjoyed the unexpected show!). Parking was always plentiful. Its a bit noisy being on hwy 1 but everything else more than makes up for it, I thought it was a great price and loved the location. Staff was super friendly.

Only stayed for one night but was pleased with our experience. Check in/out was quick and easy with friendly and helpful staff. Room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. Only issue would be with parking as there is an adjacent apartment complex and we were unsure where we could park. The hotel is very close to the beach which is why we booked it. Its a cozy, clean, inexpensive hotel within walking distance to beach, definite recommend.

It was clean and comfortable. Close to beach and they had loaner towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Not to mention family rooms with 3 beds, fridge and microwave.

Floors were squishy like the under boards were rotted. Front desk staff was great! Location was also great! The light in our room viberated all night so that kept us up. If your not looking for anything fancy this hotel will do!

Although not a 5 star hotel (the floor is coming up and bathroom fan is loud) this was a great hotel very close to the beach. Very affordable and clean with great service. We will definitely stay here again and we give it 9 out of 10 stars.

Very nice property! David was very nice about our rooms. We originally got 2 queen beds for our stay but when we got on the property and David noticed there were three of us, he offered to give us a room with 2 queens and 1 single free of charge! It was great because two of us didn’t need to share a bed. It’s super close to the beach and much less pricy than the other hotels or inns in the same or very close location. You can smell the sea from the inn. Would definitely come here again!!!

Nice inside but needed some attention… flooring was loose and peeling up showers were old and if staying in the lower unit the upstairs people can be heard with every movement. Outside noise from PCH was annoying at night but expected that. Very nice that you could walk to beach. Not sure it was worth $260/night but we still had a nice stay.

I loved the friendly and helpful staff. Having the beach chairs, beach toys, and towels was very helpful as we were traveling light just for a few days and wouldn't have had room for these bulky items. Everything was clean and in good working order. The only complaint I would have is the condition of the mattress. It wasn't very comfortable and springs were popping when you'd sit on it.

Overall I enjoyed our stay here and hope to return soon. Our room was not sound-proof at all and the most of the night I felt like the window was open (it was not) because of how loud the street noises were (cars driving by, loud motors, honking). But the staff was wonderfully helpful and interested in helping us get the most out of our short stay. They have beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, and boogie boards available to use for free - so helpful!! The beach is about 3-5 min walk away - sooo convenient. They don’t serve breakfast at the inn but two doors down there is a wonderful cafe that served a great breakfast ($10-20). Parking was tight but there were just enough spaces and I was able to park right outside our room which was helpful with small kids. I loved that they have rooms for larger families. The rooms is not new (floors had a few cracks patched with duct tape) but it was clean and the shower worked well. Overall the friendly staff and beach conveniences helped me overlook the noise issues. I enjoyed this place and look forward to returning with my family. Thanks for a great stay.

Wish the air conditioner worked a little better, or at least the fan was stronger on it. Even a room fan or 2 somewhere in the room would’ve been great! Other than that great little hotel! We will definitely be back!
