This is more than five star. I’ve been back three times. Once, we canceled a later hotel and went back to this one. Charming. Quiet. Food is superb. Walking up to the Mensikunute castle ruin in the early morning was a highlight as well as walking the adorable village area or enjoying the patio solitude and views.

Hotel nicely located in the hills. Room well-proportioned and comfortable. Restaurant food was good and service was first class. Only stayed one night but would serve as a useful base for those wishing to explore the Basque countryside.
