We really enjoyed our stay! Safe neighborhood only a 10min Uber to universal studios. Very safe neighborhood. Clean property and accommodating. The only thing I notice was the wallpaper is starting to peel, but it’s also obvious they are actively working on updating the property. Breakfast is pastries only, but if you want more there are dozens of options within 2 blocks. Very much would stay there again.

Excellent service. Clean and comfortable. 24 hour front desk. Excellent complimentary breakfast pastries. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Friendly staff. Central location, yet out of the rat race! Wonderful!

A great little hotel providing great value for the price. Parking was very easy and we both had a very sound sleep. Coffee/beverages in reception were very good as was the pastries available at breakfast time. Check in was quick, friendly and efficient. We liked the area with a number of places to eat within easy walking distance. I’d recommend The Tangerine, particularly if you are going to the Warner Brothers Studio tour, but even if you aren’t.

The Tangerine was ideal for my biz trip as it was close to my sister's place as well as easy access to freeways and many great restaurants in the area.

I guess I was expecting more with all the outstanding reviews. Our room was tiny and dated. Wallpaper was peeling, beds were uncomfortable and the room smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals when we arrived, not in a good way. Only one luggage rack and no other place to put suitcases except the floor, which there was not much extra of. On the plus side, front desk staff were wonderfully pleasant, parking was free, and neighborhood was very walkable with good restaurants. Don Cuco’s next door was great. Also Priscilla’s coffee shop down the street.

The check-in was seamless. The staff/owner at the front desk was exceptionally adept and polite. The room was clean. It's still a motel, of course, but it was comfortably and situated in a great location. There is plenty of food to be found nearby (a lot of pizza places, for some reason, a Mexican restaurant, coffee shop, Chipotle, etc). Free coffee, tea, and water were offered int he lobby. The pool was being renovated, but we stayed on a rainy day in the winter anyway. The drive to Universal was quick, so I certainly recommend this site if the Park is why you're in town.

Great little place in Burbank. We checked in late at night but were still greeted very warmly. Their lot was already full, so we had to find a spot on the road - which we got pretty easily! Room was impeccable and smelled really good - super important after a long day of travel. The location worked very well for us since our trip was planned for Universal Studios!

Me and my son stayed for 3 nights. Planned our trip to Universal and it was perfect. Close to the park and restaurants. The front desk peeps were super friendly and helpful. Thank you Erin for the great conversation! I wish you many awesome journeys in your life! I highly recommend staying at the Tangerine Hotel for any overnight stay. We’ll be back!!

On arrival, the Manager provided stellar check in, answered all questions about the nearby area and explained the lobby services (coffee, tea, water and breakfast pastries availability). Entered a nice sized and nicely appointed room with king sized bed, table and chairs, climate control, tv, iron and ironing board, in room safe, coffee maker and refrigerator. Everything you need for a weekend getaway! The location of the accommodations was close to restaurants, services and gas stations. I did not have a vehicle during my stay and the area is very walkable. They offer a parking lot for your vehicle if you bring one. The pool was under renovation, which was impressive as they are upgrading the entire pool! The landscape on the property was well kept and the grounds clean. The maid service was great and overall one of the coolest little motels I’ve experienced in recent stays!

Absolutely loved the Tangerine, if we ever find ourselves back in LA for a universal studios trip we will definitely be staying there again. It’s incredible close to a metro bus station that is a skip and hop away from universal!

Fun idea for a hotel in a very walkable neighborhood. Loved the Mexican restaurant nextdoor and Hank’s Bagels down the street. The staff were great. And I’m sure the hotel was great, but it’s showing wear and tear at this point.

Used this as our base for WB and Universal for two nights, surprisingly quiet at night, nice bright rooms, left message to see if we needed anything, guided us back to hotel when I got lost walking. Couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.

My 12 year old and I had a fun stay here. She loved the 85 degree F pool. Sure, you can hear the main street the motel is off of, but only outside, not inside. Breakfast is light but tea and other hot drinks are available 24/7, and there are plenty of places to eat in the area. We took the local buses from the BUR airport to the hotel and to Universal Studios. Location nearest to Warner Brothers.

Nice hotel, a little outdated and small bathroom, but the area is nice, lot's of food choices around. 5 minute walk to Warner Brothers and 10 minute drive to Universal and 30 minute drive to Griffith observatory. I would stay at this hotel again.

The property was well maintained and in a great location. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. It would be nice to have yogurt or fruit provided with the breakfast. I enjoyed the coffee machine and would have loved to have a herbal tea available. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here again.

Super cute hotel! It's an older hotel turned into a boutique style hotel. All the employees are friendly and really wanting your stay to be the best it can be. Will definitely stay again!

Check in was easy, we were able to check in early. The only thing that threw us off was the deposit they hold was just a little bit more than other places but it was refunded during check out. The one issue would be parking and noise, you can hear everything and they have limited spots in the front for parking but besides that it was a really good stay for just one day, a lot of things were a walkable distance. We would stay here again.

Really lovely place to stay! Super clean and they’ve really made an effort to provide everything possible in the rooms - from practical things like a safe and hair dryer to gorgeous little arty touches that really make it classy. Staff were all so polite and really helpful. Absolutely would stay here again!

It was a very comfortable stay, we came for universal studios and it’s super close to the park and Burbank airport. There’s a lot of restaurants close enough to walk to which was a plus. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. Staff is really nice, it was a fast check in and check out. Their free breakfast or pastries which is ok, don’t expect more than that though.
