Bed and pillows not very comfortable. Great breakfast though. Liked the extra sitting room with sofa bed/couch and TV and also love the secured underground parking.

We had an excellent time at the Fairfield. It was a very comfortable and clean junior suite and the hotel was also clean. Breakfast was well stocked and the kids enjoyed the waffles. The pool was warm and fun for the kids. We were also able to walk to get food and to the beach.

The room was great except for a faulty toilet part that was leaking on our second day. The room was spacious. I loved that there was a microwave and mini fridge. We were on the 1st floor, which wasn’t great. The check in experience was fast and efficient. The staff was friendly. The parking was free! The free breakfast was pretty good. And the location of this Fairfield Inn was pretty central to all the things I wanted to do in the area. Will definitely stay here again.

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our four days in Santa Cruz, and a big part of this was the excellent hospitality we received at our hotel in Capitola! The location is perfect, within walking distance to so many hip little eateries and even more lovely cliffs overlooking some of the epic surfing beaches along the Santa Cruz coastline. It was pretty cool learning that we were just a few blocks north of the original O'Neill surf shop...legendary! We enjoyed the offerings at the hotels breakfast bar, and wish they offered their "crustless quiche" every day. We ended every day of hiking and beach combing with a nice relaxing dip in the outdoor hot tub. Finally, the underground parking garage is such a bonus.

My stay overall was actually the best from other hotels we’ve stayed at. Even though my biggest request of adjoins rooms couldn’t be met my family was very happy with the comfort and quality of the rooms. Breakfast was great and the ladies in the dining area were very gracious and helpful! Always with a smile 😊 I would definitely come back to this hotel if we travel this way again! Your beds were the best!

It was a great place to stay. The o ly thing is there are 2 Fairfield Inn and Suites close to each other…one in Santa Cruz and one in Capitola…they both say both towns under the name so you have to pay attention to the address. We went to the wrong one first

The front staff were very helpful and friendly. The underground parking was very secure. The beds were very comfortable. My son and I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub each night. The people working the breakfast shift were awesome. There was always plenty of food, hot and cold. There was plenty of seating for anyone who was eating. The patio would have been nice to eat at, had it not ben raining all three days, which is not their fault. It was really a nice place that was in the middle of everything we wanted to do in the bay area. We will definitely come back here if we return to the bay area

Everything was fine EXCEPT there was no hot water. The front desk told me one of the water pumps went out at the beginning of our stay and wasn’t sufficiently fixed to pump enough hot water. However, the hotel adjusted the price of the room for our inconvenience.

Did a 3 night stay. Room was big and nice, little pull out couch, couldn’t find the refrigerator at first but realized it was “in” the dresser. Lobby was clean, look up and see the jellyfish. All the staff were friendly and helpful - Monique and Juana were great. We liked the secure garage parking. Great location - it was a toss up between here and the Best Western a block away, I can’t speak to that hotel but glad we stayed here and will be back.

This hotel was conveniently placed in a great area of Capitola. There were nearby coffee shops, surf shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was clean quiet and had free parking in a gated garage under the hotel. We will definitely stay here again!

Quiet, comfortable, easy driving into Capitola and Santa Cruz. Monique was very helpful and friendly when we checked in. Breakfast was good. Easy walking to local stores and restaurants.

We happen to arrive before check in time and the receptionist offer to keep our bags behind the desk and was able to see a room would be ready within an hour so we could unload our car before touring the town. Blown away by all the staff friendliness

I liked the cleanliness of this hotel, but awful customer service. On arrival, we found a line of people all stressed out unable to check in. Not one employee was there to assist. Some people left to go find another hotel. One employee showed up after 1 hour of waiting. He was finally able to check us in.
