When we come to town to see a show at Sight and Sound we always choose the Red Caboose. Very nice time!

My granddaughter, grandson and I loved the fact that our accommodations were in a train caboose. The train car was actually on railroad tracks!! The interior was very clean and well maintained. The grounds were clean. The staff were very friendly. We went on an Amish buggy tour which was very enjoyable. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Casey Jones which is on the grounds. The food was delicious. I loved the half rack of ribs. Their sauce was fantastic!!We parked right in front of our caboose. I plan to return in the near future.

Beds were very comfortable, room( caboose ) very clean, nice shower. Plenty of parking. Restaurant on property, good food. Near many attractions. Staff very helpful.

This place is awesome, especially if you are a fan of anything railroad related. We stayed for 3 nights in a Large Family caboose. There were 5 adults and my 5 year old boy. He loved every minute of it. All the adults liked how comfortable the large bed was as well as the bunks. Even though they didn't look it both my wife and I woke up well rested in the bunks we stayed in. The only thing to note was the bathroom size. It was rather small, which was to be expected, but if someone required a walker or cane to walk it was tight for that. (My Mother uses a walker) Over all I highly recommend this place to say for any Lancaster trip you may be taking.
