Beautiful and great space feel like you are alone in paradise! Also make sure you find Freddy! Hes amazing, friendly, fun to chat with and made a special bday surprise for me. Hubby and I really appreciate his hospitality.
General speaking.. everything's clean.. views are pure.. ac is wonderful lol. 10 out of 10 location and stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Verde Mar! We just got home and I want to go back. The staff (especially Rondo) were extremely friendly and helpful. The property was clean and our room was spacious. The bathroom could have been bigger, but it wasn’t a problem. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the beach access, and especially the monkeys, which came right up on our patio. The main road from Quepos to Manuel Antonio is steep and windy and difficult to turn around on, and there’s nowhere to park on the weekends at the restaurants and shops. We planned to go to the National Park on a Tuesday, but it’s closed on Tuesdays and that was our last day, so we missed that (my fault), but I don’t feel like we really missed anything because this hotel is so close to the park and basically the same beach, and we experienced everything we wanted to. We even spotted a sloth. The beach is a very short walk with really great surfing and boogie boarding waves. You can rent boogie boards from the front desk for a few dollars an hour. There’s another beach close by called Playa Biesanz, which is a 10 min drive North and in a little cove with much calmer water where we rented paddle boards and snorkel stuff. (Rented right on the beach from Lenny). We had such a great time. I will definitely stay here again!

Great stay and great onsite restaurant. Don’t take leftovers back to your room unless you have a fridge. That was my bad.

Great location, right on the beach. Walking distance to Manuel Antonio National Park. We even saw monkeys right outside our room. A/C worked well. Ants and spiders were pretty bad.
