The staff really cares about making sure you have a positive experience. I received free snacks when I checked in and the owner or manager (I'm not sure) was overseeing breakfast and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I wanted. Incredible service and very friendly. Next time I stay in Whitehorse, I will be coming back to this hotel.

Front desk agent was super helpful and friendly! Convenient location, very close to the airport as well as necessities (grocery, gas, pharmacy). Far from luxurious but the staff and location made up for it

The property was decent enough. But it said "kitchenette", but what we got was a questionable looking kitchen - im not sure you could call it a kitchenette. We asked for toilet paper but noone came to give it to us - so we had to buy some. It said main floor, but we were in the basement. No screens on thebwindow and no airconditioning in the basement. BUT the staff was friendly, and checkin/check out was very quick and easy. They also offered you a free snack when checking in. They're really trying.

It was a clean room. There was a leak & crappy ceiling tile, in hallway. Street doors wide open, felt sketchy. Noisy from outside, loitering all about premises.

Very loud guests in the room next to us. Fighting that went on for hours. We were actually afraid. Will never stay there again and would never recommend this hotel to anyone

Strange experience with staff but otherwise a normal Whitehorse motel. Checking in two hours early became a negotiation - pay the higher rate for the room that was ready plus “anything in cash”. I initially declined but threw a twenty just to get my luggage out of the truck and get on with my day. I make enough that I don’t really care but it is clearly a cash grab and one I have never experienced for early checkin at any motel or hotel and I stay in hotels 90 days a year. Old pepperoni styrofoam tray from the supermarket under the bed but ya no big deal, bed and bathroom were cleaned. I don’t complain unless there is grime or smells. We had two separate reservations for two nights and day staff couldn’t figure it out to avoid moving each day so night staff helped later. Following this being sorted I was summoned over for interrogation the next morning about why I had said the day staff were rude or incompetent when that didn’t happen. I was polite but I am not interested in engaging when staff when I don’t need anything. Tip: even if people do complain about your service you don’t question guests and ask them to justify it. Will be my first and last stay in this hotel, I have stayed in all other motels in whitehorse for work and will recommend anyone else look elsewhere, even if it is more expensive. This hotel must be used to dealing with reprobates and difficult people because the attitude is very paternalistic and condescending.

Had AC. Old towels, noise and smells outside

My reservation for a king size bed was switched to small “queen”(?) . The bed was in bad need of replacing. The room was dark, dingy, old, and uncomfortable. Bath tub shower did not drain, and there was an unpleasant odor. Definitely not worth what I was charged and wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone!

This place was disappointing. No ice machine, broken fan and it was very warm. They are trying but have lots of work to do.

The property needs repair. Lights in bedroom did not work, the room was HOT even after opening windows and using 2 fans we got from front desk staff. Bed was too soft. Bed linens and towels were new and okay quality

Good value. Outside appearances are rough, but rooms are much nicer.

At check in you get to choose a snack for your room, such as microwaveable popcorn, bag of chips, mac & cheese to heat, etc. That's unique. Also they offer a made-to-order full breakfast for free. That's not common these days.

No air conditioning, even with fan room was hot and uncomfortable. Small room and the furniture didn't in it. Table and chairs looked like old patio furniture. Peole were very plesant.

It's got the typical Yukon exterior, nothing fancy, but certainly not bad. So it could use a little more curb appeal. That not top on my list, but cleanliness and service is what I go for. They had an extra table in the room that made things tight, but the room was clean and the staff will go out of their way to make sure you have it right. To top it off, They have a fantastic breakfast. Hot and served right to you! If I pass this way again, I'll be making this one of my stops! Thanks Folks!

The place was not fancy, but it was a good quiet place to get some rest as we travelled the Alaska Highway. They fed us a HUGE breakfast the next morning complete with coffee an grapefruit juice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff was very nice. However, we were suppose to have some delux room we didn’t get, the walls are thin you could everything, very run down, out side there was trash everywhere and the rooms so hot we were sweating all night. Spend the extra money and go some place else.

The property is "in transition" under new management. Was a permanent living apt for "fringe" folks before. Grounds were very dirty, we had a small service dog and walking her to do business was dicey due to trash and who knows what on the nearby grounds. There were no first floor rooms, but there was an elevator (dog didnt like it much but oh well); first floor was various businesses including a public laundrymat. The rooms were semi-ready, clean but no soap or other toiletries, TVs worked had to be "fixed" by staff as if they had not been set up yet. Lamps not plugged in etc. Water pressue was unstable. On the positive side the staff were WONDERFUL, the free cooked to order breakfast was very good, dining options near by were also good and cheap.

The temperature in room could not be adjusted. Was hot like a sauna. They say renovated but it is not. Beds were crappy twin not queen I was too tall for the bed. Go elsewhere save your money!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Quick and hassle free check in. The front desk personnel was really helpful and polite. They gave me a room on the third floor. It was really spacious and quite clean. The amenities are quite modern. The bed, comfy and luxurious. No bed bugs and nothing triggered my asthma so thats a huge plus. Also, the hotel is near the superstore and some restaurants so it is quite convenient. Highly recommended budget hotel when in Whitehorse!

Check-in was disappointing. The clerk was polite but very abrupt.The lobby was cluttered with boxes and very noisy. The room was clean but quite tiny and so crowded with furniture you could barely move around.

No amenities. Unhelpful staff. No heat. Depressing room.

New owners have in a short time made significant improvements. Very clean and attentive house keepers. Comfortable and easy to rest. Some fixtures ect are dated but all work fine. Also it’s affordable. Overall, very happy

Amazing stay where friendly front staff will make go above and beyond. Will come back for sure. Also walking distance from everything.
