It’s high time they renovate the place. The rooms are spacious but too outdated. The amenities in the room are too old, some will not even work. The bed sheets and blanket are very old. The room carpet is dirty and smelly

Good all around experience. For the price you would think there would be some sort of room service option . Also there is only basic cable with no movie rental option which was odd.

Nice hotel but the room we were given wasn't cleaned or prepared from the last guests. The blankets on the beds were all disheveled, towels on the floors, etc. The staff didn't take any initiative to move us to another room as we had to really push them. Their response to the room was, "What do you want me to do about it?" Yikes. The hot tub was also out of commission which was a bit of a bummer as we were really looking forward to using it.

It was clean, beds were super comfortable but needs an update. Dirty stained carpets. Furniture also needs updating - very worn. Unfortunately, there were multiple sports teams with little to no supervision so noise at night was a huge issue.

The room desperately needs an upgrade. The finishes on the tile in the bathroom was done by a child. There were stains all over the carpet and there was a musty smell in the air. The toilet is so very low to the ground you feel like you are squatting on the ground. We had a suite, that was over priced for what we paid. We stayed for a Christmas party(we have been for 12 years). It has not been touched in as many years. There was a wire sticking out from the bottom of our AC unit. Also the wall paper is peeling off. These rooms desperately need upgrades, and some attention to detail.

Mattress was too firm, sore back in the morning. Showerhead was broken, terrible water pressure. Other guests were disruptive late into the night. Staff was excellent though, very happy with that! Would still visit this hotel again, just hopefully a better room next time.

Loved our stay here. Friendly, clean, lovely. I watched Shelby, Carrie and Roxy deal with an unbelievably rude guest with grace and poise of saints. We were perfectly taken care of. Thanks!!!

The hotel was fine. Unfortunately it is a hotel used by hockey teams when they travel for local tournaments. Several hockey teams were staying and the boys in the room beside us were very disruptive. They eventually settled but I would think about this possibility of booking here.

I think it’s time they updated the hotel from the rooms to the restaurant. The front desk folks seemed tired of with having to deal with people.

Pros: the staff was amazing. the room and the building were very clean Close to the Stratford theatres Cons: the building is old and things are falling apart. The first night the handle on the shower broke right off. They gave us a new room where the pipes were making screaming sounds when taking a shower plus the temperatures were backwards (hot tap was cold/ cold tap was hot). This wasn't a cheap stay so a bit disappointed

Only 1 of our 2 rooms was ready when we arrived about 6 pm. My room wasn't cleaned the following day. I think they were very short of cleaning staff so I didn't complain. Service in the restaurant and lounge was friendly and fast. Food was generally good except for the lemon meringue pie I had which was subpar. Plates weren't warm though so food cooled fast.

Convenient stay for those attending Stratford Festival - a short walk from Festival Theater. Good service at the restaurant. Room however is dated; bed not particularly comfortable, weak water pressure in the shower. Terribly over priced for what it is.
