We stayed in room #104. King bed on main floor comfortable but if sleeping in king bed you must go up a flight of stairs to use the bathroom. Bathroom cleanliness needs to be improved. Base of toilet very dirty and the shower had mouldy dirty caulking. Hair dryer did not work and this room has no windows.

An excellent location in downtown Stratford. The Avon Theatre is a 3 min. walk and the Festival Theatre is about a 20 min. walk or 5 min. drive. The room was in excellent condition. Very clean and the bed was oh so comfortable. Would have taken it home had it fit in our SUV! The room is on two floors with the bathroom on the upper floor. If you don't mind climbing stairs, then I highly recommend this inn. We ate dinner here too. The service was awesome, the food was delicious. We will definitely stay here again.

A nicely done, good sized loft room with a king size double downstairs and two singles in the upper left room reached by stairs. Bathroom is upstairs. Downstairs has an electric fireplace, a table and kitchenette with microwave (but no stovetop) fridge sink coffee maker. Natural light provided by a skylight (no windows). Clean, quiet, terrific central location. Could use a clothes rod.

My wife and I first stayed at Bentley's Inn eleven years ago. At the time it seemed newly refurbished and was clean, modern and reasonably equipped. When we decided to return to Stratford this summer I found Bentley's on Orbitz and saw that it still had a high review score. We booked and looked forward to our stay. The reality was very disappointing. It appeared that the room had not been upgraded in the intervening eleven years. The carpets were stained throughout. The bathroom shower was caked with soap scum. Not only that, but the room was only superficially clean. The linens were of very poor quality. It was a very disappointing experience. If we had paid half the price we might have gotten our money's worth. As it was we felt ripped off. To be fair, the room is spacious, with two levels and sleeping accommodations for four. It is also quiet and in a very central location in Stratford. However, if we do return to Stratford we will look for alternate accomodations.

We were in 101. It might help if the staff turns/flips the bed because there's a hollow on the right side. Otherwise bed is firm. Check out lady was friendly; check in guy was brusque and abrupt, likely, because the front desk isn't his natural spot (more like the kitchen, based on his outfit). Been going to Bentleys for last 3 years when we're in Stratford, and generally satisfied.

Love Bentleys, always stay here when we go to Stratford. Perfect location. Can walk to the shops, restaurants, the river, and all the theatres. Free parking. The restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. Rooms are large and comfortable with nice amenities. Only downfall is it can be a bit noisy.

Bentley's is in a great location, central to Downtown Stratford. Be prepared to climb: accommodations are up a l-o-n-g flight of stairs (no elevator) and have another flight between the bedroom and the bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a small boutique hotel over and bar/restaurant. At first I was worried that the noise from downstairs would cause some problems, but there weren't any! In fact it was quiet despite being on a main street. The only thing I thought was a possible issue was there was not elevator--one has to walk up a flight of stairs to access the hotel rooms. This might be a consideration for anyone who might have a mobility issue.

Had a great stay in a loft room. Very comfortable mattress and nice bedding. Love staying in the heart of the town, easy walking everywhere. Only problem was with city water that came out brown from every tap and toilet. Not Bentleys fault and lasted for about 2 hours. They were very good to deal with it as best they could, but couldn't brush teeth, shower or make a coffee. Stratford needs to replace old pipes.

Let me start by saying that the staff at Bentley's does many things right. They were friendly and the place is clean and well kept. For this I give them credit. The structure of the room itself (room 103 an interior room) is where there is are two shortcomings (1) There are no windows and (2) it is above the heart of the bar. To address issue (1) there is a large skylight above the main sleeping area to bring in natural light - good idea! However, guests who are used to having a darker room with drapes drawn or shutter closed will have issue because the room does have some ambient light ALL night because of street lights in the area and the room will be lit up when the sun comes up. The attached picture was taken at 7 am while lying on the king bed with no lights on. I don't know if there is any way to install a "window covering" over the skylight but provide sleep masks for the occupants. Trying to sleep with a pillow over your face is not conducive to good sleep. The second issue was being over the bar. Although the noise from the bar is minimal, the consistent strumming of the base guitar was audible and irritating. I'm not sure how you solve this on a Saturday night. I guess this review should just be buyer be warned.
