Beautiful hotel. Loved the style and decor of the room. Filled with nice touches. Josh at reception went above and beyond helping us when checking in. Can’t wait to go back!

Very accommodating to ensure we were able to check in on Christmas Day. However, since there was no one physically there we were charged for parking although it wasn’t used. Check out times are very strict, someone knocked on our door right at the door 11 AM. Great location and extremely convenient.

This is lovely place right in the heart of downtown Stratford. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic. It is in the middle of the downtown shopping district and close to the Stratford Avon Theatre. One caveat is there are only stairs but we expected that.

PROS: Great, clean, airy room that is centrally located in downtown Stratford. It is near shopping, restaurants and The Avon Theatre. CONS: lots of stairs - if you need a room with 2 beds, it's on the 3rd floor. No regular TV in the room, had to stream from IPAD,/Phone, don't know if that's normal or if cable was not functional. Small front desk inside restaurant downstairs is unstaffed overnight.

Great place in the centre of Stratford. Room was nice, staff great. No issues. Only thing I would warn about is that is all stairs to the rooms, no elevators. We were on the floor immediately above the restaurant, its 3 flights of stairs from the parking entrance. So if stairs are an issue for you this is not the place for you. We however thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely historic property conveniently located in the centre of Stratford. The staff were amazing from the moment we checked in to the time we left. No elevators but we knew that we when booked. Rooms were spacious but need to be refurbished especially the outdated bathrooms. No usb ports for charging. Beds were really comfortable. One big downside was the room needed a good cleaning especially the floors. There were hair balls in corners and hair stuck on shower curtain and other items but really the staff, location and restaurant (which is amazing) made us overlook the negative.

Good location for walking to theaters. In the very center of town, with easy access to restaurants and stores. Not a hotel for people unable to walk stairs or not carry luggage up down, as no elevator. My only dislike was the coffee maker which was expresso, not regular brew. Staff was very friendly. When arriving at hotel park in rear and enter building from back service door. Wind around stairs to first floor where you will locate check in desk across from restaurant bar.

Mercer is situated right downtown in Stratford. It is a great location. The staff are all terrific, very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great, good food, good service. Our room could use a bit of a refresh, it is getting a bit tired looking. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

The location was great. Staff were friendly. Easy to walk to the theatre and lots of shopping and restaurant options. My concern was that there are no elevators and if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercer. Lovely renovated rooms. Wish the bathroom was more contemporary. Street side a bit loud at night. Overall a good stay.

The hotel was great. Brooke took care of us at check in and was very helpful. The meal we had that evening was fresh and tasty. Breakfast for $10 was good value. Overall a great stay and would stay there again.

The staff are so so nice but the hotel is really getting old. Mind you, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. My fireplace did not work and my friends TV did not work. Rooms did not look like they did on the website. The whole hotel needs renovating.

From the moment we entered to the moment we left - everyone was friendly and made sure we felt welcomed. When Brooke noticed my cane, she moved us to a lower floor so I wouldn't have to walk up so many stairs. Food was fantastic and we were always asked if we had time commitments, knowing that many people had theatre tickets. Well done all around.

Great location, good room with Jacuzzi in room(if you like this kind of thing), also shower in bathroom. Good restaurant with great patio out front, only thing - now parking is an extra $15.00 per night, used to be included.

I really enjoyed the boutique nature if the property. Right from the little check-in counter inside the restaurant to coming down from my room at midnight to grab some more wine. Staff were amazing, dinner was fantastic and the rooms were clean and comfortable!

Great location in Stratford. My room was clean, comfortable and quite spacious by hotel standards these days, where 'cozy' can be the size of a broom closet. The hotel has a groovy kind of retro vide, great reno! My room was tastefully done, comfortable and didn't scream HOTEL. I appreciated the hard floor as carpeting in a hotel room can be dubious at best. I had a spacious king bed that was very comfortable, lots of pillows. Big tv, easy to use, bathroom was also very nice with appropriate amenities and spotless.

Great service, rooms quite comfortable, resortish vibe and the food was 10/10. Check in was a breeze, checkout even better. Restaurant is great with a wide selection of local and international beers, and the menu is outstanding. Location is an added perk, centre of the little city and very accessible to other food service joints. The Nespresso is a nice touch (expected, but the little things that matter).
