Nice cute little motel, Americana vibe. Very cozy and friendly staff. Great location as well.

Very nice independent motel. Am on a long motorcycle trip and love to park right outside my room. Rooms seem to have been redone recently. Wall heaters are turned off but portable electric ones are provided and worked well. I missed the fact there was no fridge in my room but that was not a big deal. Overall a very pleasant one night stay.

The owners were friendly and helpful but I paid almost $250 for 1 night and it was worth half that. The parking was awful. The room was tiny. The bathroom was also tiny. The room had inadequate outlets. I think that the price was so high because I went through expedia. I felt I highly overpaid.

Wasn’t what we were expecting but the owners were so friendly. Despite the outdated decor, it was super clean.

Friendly family-owned motel. The motel is very clean and well maintained with lovely touches that made the stay feel more like home. Free WIFI and painted furniture that matched the wall paper. And the staff was very welcoming and personable and willing to answer any question.

I loved this slightly shabby place with unusual Mexican-type decorations on the walls. Reception was very welcoming and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

The owners of this hotel were wonderful and accommodating. Big changes to come in January which will even better improve the hotel, would definitely stay agsin

The staff was friendly, the room we had was right on the street and very noisy. The room was "worn" looking, dated, some disrepair. There were bugs dead in the area where a washer/dryer appeared to be. The bed was not the most comfortable and had a upholstered headboard, which is not very presentable or cleanly. Be aware, if you make a reservation it will cost you $35 dollars to cancel. I cancelled my next 3 and cost me $35 each, because we would not be back.

Excellent very well maintained property. Quite comfy bed and shower. Management incredible with lots of smiles. Parking just a few steps from the door. Will always stay here !

We loved the location as well as being able to park in front of our room. We met the owners and they are delightful and took good care of us. We will return.

We were lucky to get to stay at this place! We had the room with the full kitchen and separate bedroom. Beds were comfortable, pillows were great, super hot water and water pressure! Bikes to rent as well for the close by shops and restaurants. The new owners were great and very accommodating! It’s a little on the older side but was comfortable. I’m sure the new owners will continue to update things! Can’t wait to stay again!

The property has been recently purchased by a lovely young couple. I received a phone call to confirm my a stay and she told me about check in etc. The gentleman, checked us in, very informative and friendly. I told him we were going to the Brew Fest and he said he was too! He would be introducing the main act. The room was very clean and so so so cute. The bed was very comfortable. They're was even a black rag in the bathroom for wiping off make up, which was nice. I ran into the owner at the Brew Fest and he recognized us and sounds with us for a bit. Super friendly couple and a very nice little motel. I'll stay here every time I go to Durango.

Quaint, cute and quiet.

The property is under new owners and you can tell they are working to make upgrades on the outdated areas. The rooms are not big but comfortable. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, that's reasonably priced and not a lot of amenities, I'd recommend Siesta Motel. The owner is nice and responsive to texts.

Great location, quiet and safe. Very clean and pleasant stay.

The room was clean but the beds were both sunken in the middle. Not terrible but not great.

Subtracting one star because the Wi-Fi wasn’t working most off the time and was very slow when it was working. Upgrade your internet Siesta!

Small, old, but well laid out so that the basic traveler has just about everything needed, including a combo fridge and nightstand. Bathroom was okay though some obvious water damage next to the toiler. I'm 6.3 so had to bend to take a shower and the shower head could use some repair. Soap was miniscule but hey, I got clean. Bed was nice and overall the place was clean. It is an old travel hotel that could use a few more upgrades.

Very clean, comfortable, and renovated older motel court. Charming facility and very nice staff!

It is a bit shabby, and noisy. THere was no soap, on half shampoo, all in all we had no choice since every other place was full. Holiday Inn Express downtown -- after waiting nearly an hour for checkin -- long line, one person on duty who seemed oblivious to working hard to get the people checked in -- she did not have our reservation "in their system" though I showed her our phone with the reservation. She called "her boss" who said if it wasn't in the computer system my phone reservation with numbers didn't matter, so we went to the Siesta. [I will NEVER go to a Holiday Inn Express ever again though I have been an IHC member for as long as it has been]. The rest of Durango was booked up, so the Siesta was available ("last room" at $350). Amazing horrible service at HIExpress.

The motel looks ordinary from the outside, but the inside is surprisingly nice! Wooden rustic motif. Super friendly staff.

Way overpriced for a 1950's motel. I've stayed in much nicer motels for a lot less.
The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant, however his assistant, the blonde witch needs to be kept away from the public! What a rude, obnoxious person!

The room smelled extremely musty and to the point of packing up and leaving within 1 hour of arrival.

I have stayed here many times over the years and it's always a great place to stay.
Check in is a breeze and the rooms are very clean and comfy.

We spent two nights in Durango and the Siesta Motel did the trick. It's a vintage motor court but has been updated well enough. The location is just north of downtown, but still convenient to everything. The owners live on-site.m. There is no housekeeping service during your stay, but I've found this is the case at virtually every type and level of hotel since the pandemic began.

Staff was friendly. Room did not have a microwave which I missed looking for when booking. The mattress was very firm, almost too firm for my liking. The location was easy to find, and the area was quiet.

Hotel is clean. We were greeted by a woman who was on the phone and was yelling at a man who eventually checked us in. He was very pleasant.
The window in the bathroom had not been cleaned in months, which was not noticeable because we opened it.
The air had not been turned on ahead f us checking in and given the heat in Durango, it took several hours to cool the room.
This is the first hotel I’ve rented that had no facial tissue, a minor concern.
The Hotels.com site needs updating as they no longer clean rooms daily.
Overall, it was a nice stay.

My wife loves newer higher priced hotels. I like to find a jewel that is clean safe and saves me money. I usually book the hotels and my wife complains. But let me tell you, this place is extremely well kept by some great people. My wife was very happy on this one. Parking is a bit tight but not a problem. You wont regret booking this one.
