I requested a room with twin beds. Both beds were large and extremely comfortable. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was excellent.

Clean enough but the bed was terrible. One side of the bed had a huge indent from where people have slept on that side. It sagged while the other side of the bed was fine.

Girls trip .Room comfortable.Right in the CBD for shopping cafes and a short walk to the waterfront with a choice of excellent Restaurants.Buffet breakfast at Hotel fantastic ….Lots of choice and a friendly Chef only to happy to cook an Omlette or cook your eggs your way . Actually all staff were helpful and friendly .I would definitely recommend this Hotel .

we found it was a super hotel and we have absolutely no complaints. We all had a good breakfast before we left. Parking access was easy. The central location was perfect for our needs.

The hotel is located in the central of Wellington, Many attractive tourist spots are within walking distance. There are fast food shops and a large supermarket just directly opposite to the hotel entrance. The hotel room, especially the bathroom with Crabtree bath amenities, is spacious and comfortable. Although the hotel was built in 1928, it has been newly renovated with a signature scent. We have enjoyed our stay in the hotel and would highly recommend it.

The location was exceptional. I cant think of an area around the city that would be more central to everything. Room was large and beds were very comfortable. Excellent bathroom space. Great selection of coffee shops and restaurants around the hotel. Museums and water just steps away. I would return in a heart beat. Thank you Wellington!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were welcomed nicely and the checkin process was so quick. We were treated with yummiest cookies.❤️ The art deco building is gorgeous and our room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast had so many options, the staff were kind,lovely and helpful. At breakfast Chef Ashish checks on everything frequently and cooked delicious food. He made the yummiest Omlettes! Thank you Chef Ashish. ❤️❤️

Had a room on the second floor that had no view other than I could read the computer of the person working in the next building. If you stay request a room with a view. Otherwise dark and gloomy even on a sunny day.

I liked most of your service and the interiors with jazz music which is my favorite. But the occasional elevator break down was inconvenient. And at breakfast hoped there were the ingredient written next to the food and staffs should be aware of the food when they are asked of the food ingredients as my daughter has a peanut allergy. One of the menu, looking like asian style noodle included peanut but I wanted to make sure, so asked the staff and she returned from the kitchen saying there was no peanut, however it was peanut so just ignored that food. But later the chef came out said there was peanut inside of noodle. The staff working at the restaurant should know the knowledge of that day's food menu or written ingredients next to the food. Other than that, I love the location, interior, service, welcoming cookies which were so yummy and delicate. THANK YOU!

Staff were welcoming when we arrived just before 10 p.m. We were hungry but unfortunately everything was closed in the area. We were able to order from a short room service menu. Food was acceptable. Complimentary snacks and water in the room a nice surprise. For breakfast we ordered a la carte and food was excellent and reasonably priced. The room was spacious and very nice. The only real negative was being situated close to the housekeeping suite and I was awakened around 7 a.m. by their conversations. So if you are a light sleeper asked to be put in a room far away from that location.

Unbeatable location in the Wellington CBD, across the street from the cable car and a short walk to waterfront and museums. The first floor restaurant served a nice breakfast and we also enjoyed their Happy Hour.

Overall a wonderful stay to sum up our wellington trip. Staff was friendly and they provided us with 1 complimentary sparkling water and still water bottle, plus a chunky choc chip cookie per person. Reminded me of a small boutique hotel in Europe. Shower though, I think hot water is shared with another room and sometimes the strength and temperature altered. Breakfast was a bit hectic too, but it wasn’t that bad to be honest. Overall a pleasant stay. We stayed in the king bed suite

I stayed other cheaper Hotels in WLG and AKL i experience much better hospitality from them than Duale Tree Hilton. It has nice old richer building but 〜　Is this so call the Hilton? Double tree is sutiated in the very handy place. The staffs at restraunt are nice. I am little old lady from Japan.

This property is beautiful and shows thought and purpose in every aspect of the property! This was a last minute substitution from a very disappointing hotel and I couldn’t have inaginec how fantastic a stay I experienced here at Double Tree Wellington. Don’t hesitate on staying at this exceptional hotel!
