well situated for socialising in CBD, black out curtains good, bed ok, water pressure excellent,
tv had very few available channels, no sound on TV1, no ability to cast. Kitchenette very average - no bowls to prepare food in microwave. No chopping boards or sharp knives.

Great staff, room was really nice, bed was fantastic. Appreciated the cutlery so could have someone in to eat takeaways together. Loved the location.
No air conditioning. No issues in winter, could be a problem in summer.

The harbour view was nice to have if you ignore the buildings in front. Was fairly quiet in our room. The staff are always professional and pleasant. The cold selection (Fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc) in the buffet breakfast is pleasant. The parking and location for shopping is right on your doorstep. The price is at the lower end of the range for Wellington CBD.
The TV channels in the room were very limited. The milk supplied for tea/coffee tasted awful, looked like long life and left a strange film on the surface of the tea. Bathroom needed some re-grouting. Lack of temperature thermostat in room so relying on a fan or the heater. Coffee machine at breakfast was out of use and the bacon and sausage were unappealing and on the cheap side.

This hotel does not say in the details page that you need to pay extra money, but in fact, after you book the hotel, you will receive an email telling you that there is an invisible fee of 32 dollars for parking, and the hotel front desk service staff is very unenthusiastic and extremely cold.
