I have 0 complaints, the staff were excellent and extremely accommodating, restaurants were excellent, and it is is a great location, easy to walk to various shops and local transportation. I would recommend this location to anyone and I will most likely stay here again when I return to Istanbul.

Staff at the JW made our stay so pleasant. Housekeeping lady Senel was awesome. Only recommendation would be to include better americano coffee and offer maybe a pot of it for room service. A small cup of americano isn’t enough for some American travelers. Overall, excellent stay!!

I love everything there and everyone they are trading guests very well. Friendly , lovely. I feel feel at JW Marriott Marmara like with my family. Definitely a nice property. Staff in general are cordial and helpful. The hotel is near a highway and the sound of traffic is annoying. Also main attractions are much farther than what is mentioned on the website. The star rating system in general is questionable in Turkey. Overall Turkish people are very hospitable.

I made two reservations with panoramic sea view rooms as I was with my wife and my 13 years old son , I have send the management email before that we wanted connected rooms , unfortunately that was not available when I checked in , they asked for 1500 euro in order to upgrade, I had to accept the available rooms but I stayed all night worried about my son the first night the second two nights we had to stay in the same room although I paid for two Check in and check out were very slow , cost of breakfast was extremely high and average quality Rooms are really beautiful but I didn’t find peace in there

Hotel contacted us in advance to ask when we would come. We telephoned and asked whether 2pm would be ok (knowing check in was at 3pm). They said "no problem" and offered to send a car. We declined the car and said we'd take a taxi (we were transferring from another hotel and didn't want the pressure of knowing they would turn up at a specific time). On arrival at 2pm told room wasn't ready and left sitting in lobby waiting ... for 1 1/2 hours. No drinks offered or acknowledgement that we were waiting. Eventually reapproached front desk and complained at 3:30. Complaint was handled very professionally. Hotel did make good by sending written apology and fruit basket plus access to executive lounge, so credit for that. Bottom line is we lost an afternoon when we could have been out and about. If they'd told us upfront not to turn up before 3pm, we would have organised things differently. Other than this no other complaints. Hotel is a bit isolated but very nice if all you want to do is chill after a number of days in Istanbul. Room and balcony were very nice.

The property in general is OK. Nothing too spectacular if you have been around other JW Marriotts around the world. It does not have options for dining or nightlife, very quiet atmosphere. They have a nice location but are not utilizing it properly. Staff is generally friendly if you can communicate with them in English. Breakfast buffet for the price, quality and variety is not worth it. Other 5 star properties in Turkey, offer much better experience. There is no outside pool and the spa area is also pretty dead. Overall, it is satisfactory. They need to really jazz up the place and also make sure they hire staff that speaks English.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing ocean view. Service was excellent , food was good and the property itself is great. It’s located in a very nice neighborhood away from all the crowds, you need transportation for everything because of the distance .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at JW Marriott Marmara during my visit toIstanbul From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for an exceptional experience. I am delighted to write this review to express my gratitude and commend the hotel's outstanding Staff First and foremost, the receptionist Eren was an absolute gem. Their attentiveness, genuine smile, and willingness to go above and beyond made me feel like a valued guest from the very beginning. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and dine. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests truly elevated my stay. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the efficiency and professionalism of the receptionist. They efficiently handled all the necessary paperwork and ensured that I was well-informed about the hotel's amenities and services. My 3-night stay at JW Marriott Marmara Sea was amazing. I arrived in very early in the morning, there was no availability of the room I booked, Guest Relations Manager CEMRE Fidan did her best to arrange an interim room for me to relax and offered complimentary breakfast, she also kept checking if I stayed comfortably through out my stay. All the staff at Concierge, house keeping were super nice and helpful. I made friends with restaurant managers, and they help me choose lots of local famous dishes that I enjoyed each of it. The hotel is very new. I would stay at Marmara Sea again whenever I am in Istanbul.
