The Summit Lofts boutique hotel is located in the absolute best location in downtown Mt Shasta. When you get off the highway exit and first see the building, you'll have a good view of Mt Shasta behind it. Upon arrival, you'll notice there are smartlocks throughout the building, allowing for an easy and safe self check-in process. Walking into Room 201, there's plenty of space to set your luggage with a custom-built cedar luggage bench at the entry as well as a folding luggage rack. You'll notice the original, refinished hardwood floors show the cherished character of the building along with a restored Douglas fir door from 1923. New, genuine, thick wool rugs add warmth to the space along with upholstered benches at the foot of each of the two well appointed queen beds. We receive enthusiastic reviews from our guests at the Summit Lofts regarding the new mattresses and bedding that was curated through a lengthy process of trying countless combinations of bedding. The sheets in particular are a luxurious 800 thread count Egyptian Cotton. You'll find a soft chair by the large windows which makes the perfect spot to drink a cup of coffee in the morning. The windows are all operable so feel free to open them up to allow Mt Shasta's clean air to fill the space. Looking out the large windows, you'll enjoy seeing people walking and enjoying the historic main street just below your 2nd story vantage point. There's a 58" smart tv in case you decide to relax by signing into one of your favorite subscription services like Hulu, Amazon or Netflix. Mt Shasta has some excellent restaurants and grocery stores all within walking distance so feel free to bring dinner back to your suite where you'll find a microwave, mini fridge and a dining table which could also serve as a desk if you're looking to get a little work done during your stay. The bathtub is modern and deep along with a subway tiled shower. We provide Guild & Pepper shampoo, conditioner & shower gel from their warm oak line which has a wilderness aroma balanced by bergamot and Moroccan grapefruit. This room pretty small. Shower tub a little hard to step into. Water pressure very bad. Room very loud in the middle of the night when the train went through town at the end of the street. Better would proofing needed.
