It is a beautiful hotel with only a few rooms each floor. Everything was very clean, looked very new and was just like as shown on the pictures. We were staying as a family of 5 and enjoyed the very spacious room- to sleep on the tatami matresses and to have a big table during the day to eat.
The staff was very friendly and when checking in our lugguage that arrived with Yamato before us was already placed in the room. Every Morning there were free chocolate and normal croissants at the lobby to be self-heated in little ovens, which our kids loved!
The Location is great for sightseeing as we reached the central train station in a walking distance of a couple of minutes!
We would definitively stay here again!

This place is conveniently located near the train station and anything you might need during your stay. The staff spoke English for me and Japanese to my wife. They were extremely polite and friendly, not just you’re a tourist and Japanese friendly, but it seemed genuine. This location is by many other popular hotels but it’s just as great with many amenities in the lobby in case you need something in a pinch. The washroom came in handy for my family as well as the water dispenser (daily during our summer stay). The cleaning service was great and it kept things fresh for our week long visit. I would 100% stay here again and look forward to.
Can’t think of anything that the staff wasn’t able to address for us.

Bit far from Kyoto station.

Otherwise free breakfast breads are so tasty. Compact small hotel but has everything.
Many restaurants are around hotel.
Only two washing machines with security locks so I had to go all night to check if they finish or not, but even they finish, still locked so can’t use anyway.
Washing day I couldn’t sleep!!
Need some system to notify ending to washing person. Or no locks and put basket etc.

Staff is really nice
It's not a 4 star hotel and you can notice it! I don't know why it says it is a 4 star hotel and in Google it says 3 stars. It is def a 3 star hotel. They don't clean everyday, don't put water in the rooms, the windows don't have blackout, there isn't any toiletries in the room. I feel I was scammed because I reserved here based on a big "discount" i was getting
