The staff were fantastic, the hotel was ultra modern and we enjoyed the complimentary afternoon desserts and evening snacks, sake and beer.

The hotel feels refreshed and well equipped. The room sizes are reasonable. The fact that they offered a lot of amenities for free at lobby, and nice afternoon dessert also for free everyday is very impressive.
The only stress comes from the queue for the washing machines. It is very nice for hotel to offer self laundry service. Out stay was during the hottest days in the summer and demand for service was high. We ended up queuing in front of the machines 30mins+ before / ran to the washing room first thing in the morning to get access to the machines.

This is without the doubt the best hotel we stayed in on our Japan family trip. Big, comfortable rooms, rich breakast, free afternoon drinks and snacks. Just perfect. Employees are really friendly, the location is great, a short walk from the train station. I am so happy to have found this place. It's a real gem. My teenage sons also adored the hotel.
The reastauranst for breakfast isn't big enough for all the guests. One day we had to wait for half an hour to be sitted. That wasn't a problem for us, but if you are on a tight schedule, it could be. But the breakast is really tasteful, so for me it's worth waiting for.

Location was excellent. Close to kyoto station and bus transportation. Walking distance to mall. Staff was very friendly. Free ice cream and little goodies.
