Fabulous location, beautiful little hotel in a great area. Easy walk to The Colosseum and great restaurants. Was met by Leon who made us feel welcome. Breakfast delivered to your room was a treat especially with freshly baked croissants. Perfect place for our one night stay.

Location was excellent not to far from metro and landmarks were walkable.
Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Room was lovely and comfortable.
Plenty of restaurants nearby and supermarkets.
There was nothing I didnt like about hotel.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, with easy access to everything, and it’s situated on a safe and pleasant street. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and offers great amenities. And the breakfast… simply delicious! It’s very close to Termini station, but you can easily walk to all the main attractions as well. I absolutely loved my stay and couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

Donna Francesca is more boarding house than hotel: a small entrance, a hallway, guest rooms and no public spaces. But it's located in a beautiful building on a quiet street in central Rome - a short walk to Palazzo Barberini, Baths of Diocletian and some of the best restaurants in Rome - and the property itself has been done with style. As there is no breakfast room, breakfast is served on a tray in your room - a nice touch - with a selection of fruit salad, pastries, boiled eggs, yoghurt and great coffee.
Super noisy. You hear everything from the hallway: voices, suitcases being dragged, people talking. My single room was minuscule (more cupboard size than bedroom), although I did see some of the larger rooms and they were quite nice. But what gives Donna Francesca the low score is that after returning from a full day out, housekeeping had left my door open. I contacted management on both the Booking.com app and WhatsApp and to this day they have not even bothered to respond. I don't even blame housekeeping, who are very nice and probably overworked - the doors are cheap and don't close properly. And I certainly can't imagine being a hotelier and not responding to a guest.
