Our family is very unsatisfied on our stay unfortunately this Christmas that we prepare so much in advanced.

It’s a beautiful log cabin house with large spaces and lots of beds to accommodate large group of people. The only thing is there’s only one bathroom with shower on the main floor in the master bedroom so the other room (6 person can sleep) have to share it, just FYI.

Regarding property here at 42400 eagle ridge big bear. We rented this place for our family Christmas gathering/party December 21-27, 2025. First issue was hot water, not working after a day that we stayed. Mr. Hector fix it but tank needs part/s so we end up with intermittent loss of hot water on our stay. Second issue after a day with rain and a little hail the whole house is super cold, heater not working, unfortunately it happened on Christmas Day. Third issue the dryer not functioning, not drying our clothes well. It’ll take 9 hours to at least dry the clothes (that’s one load, have no choice but to let it spin and hope it dries our clothes) to damp so we can hang it out to at least dry our clothes in a cold house. The technician came and look at it but can’t fix it cause it needs part/s. No dryer the whole stay. Fourth issue the dishwasher is broken (it’s old). I took a picture of the dishwasher soap and it barely melted with the cycle leaving the dishes still dirty. Hector the technician look at it and said it needs replacement. So end up no dishwasher the whole stay. Fifth issue the 3rd garage is where the game amenities are placed which end up unusable and you won’t enjoy it as it’s freezing cold in the garage. The response from our complaints is prompt and I appreciate that, but not all can be fixed. Here’s their response to one of the many exchanges messages to us: Im very sorry to hear that! I will reach out to our customer experience team and let them know that you will be without a dryer for the entirety of your stay and will have someone from that department reach out to discuss further. Unfortunately it’s just a message it’s now December 29, 2025. We waited before posting a review but No customer experience team have tried to reach us. We don’t mind paying a lot for this rental property as long as all the amenities are working. Our family are very unsatisfied for this trip.

Decent for the price

The price for the place was reasonable. Clean linens were provided. We had garage access which is rare for a lot of cabins.

Some of the kitchen accessories were not in the best shape. The grill looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The heating was hard to adjust for each room. I also wish the hot tub actually worked (should be if that’s a selling point in the title).
