We booked The Star for a midway stop between travelling home and found the owner to be really friendly and anything we needed he was happy to oblige! Great view from the beer garden and the food we had in the evening was amazing, highly recommend for couples or even a family stay 😊

Staff were wonderful, the room was clean and food and beer were nice. Only downside on me was that the kitchen didn’t work because it was under renovating, but it doesn’t matter.

A charming Public house originally built in the 1700s with few rooms upstairs and in an attached cottage. A short 10 minute walk from a portion of the Cotswold way, including the Harefield beacon, with a view from Wales to Glouchester. Menu includes some Greek dishes. Proprietors very hospitable and helpful.

A lovely pub stay in one of their rooms. They were happy to accommodate our Cavalier King Charles dog. The continental breakfast was excellent . Would recommend.
